Idk if some weird bug, but Capcut decided to charge my text to speech conversion…

And for using a voice labeled “free”…

Other voices, without label and with Pro label didnt charge me. But the voice I wanted drank a small portion of my credits.

Ive been somehow satisfied with the Capcut service. The desktop app is slightly buggy, but it gives most what I need.

But I dislike their model of credits. Every month I earn 1750, but instead of carrying over, the just vanishes out of thin air.

Now it kinda bites me because I really liked how their AI animated my dog avatar. If I knew, I would spen all the 3500 credits I lost so far in making more dog animations, to become my virtual avatar.

Anyway, matter in fact, even if it is a bug, the text to speech from Capcut is way cheaper than Elevenlabs, and it does have some quality enough to not feel entirelly AI. I ended paying it, I just hope it is indeed a bug and that it will get back to normal soon

More than half of a videos worth comes the audio.

People accept poor image quality. But they surely dont accept poor audio quality.

This kinda clicked on me and I started to more carefully craft a good sound design in my latest videos.

And surely, adding the right sound effects and songs at the right moment upgrade a slideshow to a near cinematic experience

I suppose the reasonable thing in your position is saving up till the end of the month then exchange the left over credits for furry lewds?

Reddit is imho primarily interesting because they were not as intrusive with data collecting, at least in respect to asking for stuff like phone numbers and what not on sign up. Between all the re-posts, infamous moderation, the confusing and clunky UI I don't think the platform will do good once ID becomes mandatory.

also highly recommend the extension unhook. I took the time to click through the many obscure google account settings to wipe out everything youtube tracks, then disable history. with unhook you can remove recommendations and many other questionable features. sanity restored!

BROOOOOOO you have to have a gpu - the free stuff you can do with comfyui is nuts and you don't need a crazy gpu either

Maybe I will try investing in a better hardware once I move out my mothers home.

But this will only happen in 2 to 4 months.

My current notebook is already crying for basic stuffs, due to this massive spyware called Windows 11

It's a rough time for new hardware, I'm thankful for every day my machine doesn't break down.

Buy used server hardware. Cheaper and more powerful than even new consumer grade hardware.
