I always tried to write things I get from insights, but so far, it was either written in a lost piece of paper or a lost word file I will never find again, or buried in my near 17k of quality posts on FFXIAH.
But the thing is, SaaS came in handy for me. Now, I have one word file on my OneDrive, and have been dropping my ideas there.
So, now Im managing to retain my insights instead of losing them.
I already had 5 or 6 pieces of medias, from comics, games and even an animation, maybe.
Out of all of those, yesterday I came up with a new one, and that tends to be my first proprietary piece of media.
Yeah, Ive been reading some manga and even manhwas romcoms, and while cute and such… TBF it is all very distant from my own reality.
As a brazillian, obviously there is a gap in culture and style regarding romance and stories in general.
So, writing a story with same genre of most popular mangas, but using brazillian style, surely will be something most never saw before, and can even be interested.
So, my first piece of media will be a romcom, slightly based on my own history and my own context, plus a style that wont be that filled of japanese cliches.
I already layout all the series, layed out the first chapters so Im impressed how much progress I got from a couple of hours thinking.
Next step is to think the storyboard of it.
We will see.
Stay tuned to know how my life was in terms of romance
Took a break from the Limbus talk and found out that the nintendo game based on a beloved IP that decided to abandon everything that made it successful by adding quirk chungus NPC's among other things didnt sell well...
...to no ones surprise, except maybe Viciousss, whos gonna spout some more conspiracy theory garbo.
We all know how entertaining achieving things in game can be. In game things are not real life though.
In game things are part of real life, whether you'll admit to it or not. They were designed as part of someone's life, distributed as a part of someone else's, and then bought and played by ours.
Anywho, life's not bad. I'm still looking for work. Had an interview recently for a night time position. Was told I'd receive a follow-up call day after the interview to gauge my interest. No follow-up call received, and no response to me calling them. (I wasn't interested after being told the hours AND that the position would require monthly out of state travel).
If I weren't married with 4 pets that require daily care, I might have been eager beaver about it. But my wife already works 10~12hrs a day in the chem lab, and from a care taking perspective I can't commit to 12hr overnighters on top of out of state travel.
The job, oddly, did not list the hours, or out of state travel, or other expectations in its listing(learned of them in the interview). Just the pay and actual work itself. (Decent pay, dirty job)
I'm sure I'll get something soon, even if I have to bite the bullet and take something undesirable. It just can't be that kind of undesirable.
Other than that, my life's good. Wife loves me. We're getting professionally photographed next Sunday, and having her "dream" wedding in April (where she will be professionally photographed in a dress that she used to say she didn't care about. Oh ladies...).
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
