It doesn't surprise me that Wukong is already getting a sequel, not because it deserves one, but because it fits the Chinese mentality of rushing games to market. Just look at Wuchang, a game that could have sat in the oven for 6+ more months. It didn't need to come out in July, there was zero demand for a souls-like. I mean, everyone is playing Nightreign, an actual From game. Instead they rushed it to market infested with bugs and annoying gameplay and its already dead. Americans aren't falling for the flashy lights anymore.

Vic, the Chinese market is not the US market. Its bigger as well.

Also no game in China is released without party approval.

I was kinda interested in Wuchang because I love gritty and dark world with horror vibes, I was planning to get it eventually after some QoL updates. But then I heard the recent patch changed the story and give the emperor a "good ending" because of vocal Ming dynasty supporters on the internet negative review bombed the game. And the story change ruined the main theme and story logic.

This made me not wanting to buy this game anymore. The whole idea of changing the story because vocal customers asked for it turns art into a product.....

Yeah, games are technically products, but I also prefer to pay for art. They can go please their customers with products all they want, but they'll lose those who appreciate art for what it is.

It's honestly very sad that a cool story and world building ended up like this because of the toxic internet environment in China. But it has happened multiple times in the past and I wouldn't be surprised if it happen again. It's a systemic problem.

Discord mobile has become a buggy mess, please assist.
The keyboard no longer tracks with the app and hides the text you are editing or sometimes even typing.
Some of my servers say they need channels created when they already have plenty and are active.

Have to force close the app multiple times a day and it sounds like I am not alone.

Discord desktop crashes a lot or just stops writing to the window visually.

Does all this run on guild work?
