Giving these people money and letting them free is an insult to the person they killed (and again, yes they did often actually commit the actual crime), I don't care if the cop used unlawful methods to get the evidence or whatever else gets them off.

Let the guy rot in prison till he dies, and take action on the cop or who they consider did something wrong to mess up the case.

Sounds like you just need to move to China, where all of your dreams will surely come true.

To use a made up example:

A man murdered someone in her bed in the middle of the night during an attempted robbery, and he escaped and no evidence that linked him to the crime was found.

Later a police officer broke into that mans house unlawfully while they were questioning him because he was sure he did it, he found the murder weapon and numerous other pieces of evidence and this evidence is then used to find him guilty of her murder.

Many years later it is pointed out the cop broke into the mans house to find this evidence, which is unlawful and he is then found innocent and given millions of dollars.

He did murder her, yet now he is proclaimed innocent and giving millions of dollars.

This is wrong, but this is often an example how the "innocence project" gets people off.

OR the police officer with his laser focus on this "suspect" plants evidence in order to make certain the criminal is caught, after all this man is guilty so any and all means to have him meet justice are acceptable right?

He uses false equivalence a lot. Try that perhaps?

I understand the point you're making,

However what I'm saying is that if any issues are found at a later date (in the way I described), the case is never re-investigated because this is not how the legal system works. The person is just stated to be innocent due to a technicality, even if everyone involved and other evidence proved they actually did do the crime.

It is a betrayal of the person that was killed and their family.

The case should be re-investigated, and it should not instantly always 100% of the time be then stated the person is innocent and is then given millions of dollars of tax payer money. This gives an utterly false impression to the public, that this man is actually innocent when very often he is not.

Who says the case is never re-investigated? You have no idea what you're talking about. You are not describing the American legal system, but rather a system you just made up in your empty head. The case you made up isn't even believable.
