Today was a lot of work too.
Im doing way more overtime at home in my current job. At least now I got to migrate from 15 to 16 just breaking maybe 2 or 3 things with not that much importance. More 2 to go. (at least 16 is still supported so I hope going from 16 to 18 to be easier than 14 to 16 Some funny interesting here or there with this.

After having to deal with upgrading a legacy Angular application, it made me think its obscene the pace that Angular releases new major versions (every 6 months).
Not only it speed up the API deprecation, but it makes a nightmare to keep up with dependencies. Not every dependency will have the same evolution pace. And legacy dependency is another nightmare because it forces you to refactor the application just to keep thing as they are. |
