A little idjit in a grey sedan about ran me off the interstate today.
Then when I got to work I got blindsided by a write-up for misconduct with guests... Even though I haven't had a direct complaint since late August.
The thing I absolutely hate the most about working in Hospitality is that no matter how friendly or caring you are, people will say whatever they want about you to get a discount or a credit or some points.
"He didn't care about helping me!" - The guy who I spent 3 hours doing stuff for, sometimes at the cost of rebuffing other guest requests.
"It seemed like we were inconveniencing him and he made us feel like the problem!" - Family who I bent over backwards to please and cater to for the entirety of my day.
"He's not a team player, he isn't helping me with breakfast!" - Breakfast attendant who literally hides in the food storage closet for half her shift, causing me to have to do half her job.
I need a different job.
