An alien race that conquers or destroys planets across multiple universes, are they evil or is it just a couple bad apples that make all aliens look bad?
The answer is who cares
Theyre fictional characters

Out of 17 possible departments to work, only 5 or 6 of them are in line with my aspiration of doing a more technical job in CS. The rest is more like working like analyst of requisite, whats certainly not my best interest.
And out of those 17, 2 of them not only dont meet my aspirations but also involves moving to another estate.
While I dont particularly feel attached to my current home, leaving it would be a huge hit either for my finances or my mother, as I live with my mother and a sizeable amount of my salary goes to her. If I need to move on, either I keep the same amount of money to her and add to my usual expenses all the costs of renting home, food, etc, or I will need to cut that money to cover my own expenses in the new city.
And thats because I already gave up 40% of my net salary to try a chance of working in a more technical CS job.
So, moving to another city is a non-option to me. I will simply reinforce my studies in Data Science to try for the next job opportunity test, in octomber.
Gonna need to put on hold my studying in Deep Learning though. But I really need to have that plan B ready in case of the worst.
There is no freedom for a man who doesnt have a plan B.
The Silmarillion states that Morgoth captured and imprisoned the Elves and "by slow arts of cruelty [they] were corrupted and enslaved; and thus did Melkor breed the hideous race of the Orcs in envy and mockery of the Elves." However, Tolkien's notes later contradicted this, saying that the Dark Lord wouldn't have had the ability to take the Elves immortality. Ultimately, Christopher Tolkien, J.R.R.'s son, noted in The Silmarillion that the idea that Orcs were created from Elves is "held true by the wise of Eressëa," as a way of saying "no one actually knows, but this is what they think."
It's not some random new idea, it's been a/the idea for 50+ years.
(It may be a little less torture and a little more organic, for tv, haven't watched it)
I used to watch the channel, but they changed script readers, new guy ain't it.
Oh you know the OG made another channel about game animations doing frame by frame analysis, I remember really liking the early videos but just now realized I have not seen one in a really long time
Extra Credits used to be an awesome channel, but the trio that made it eventually had some sort of falling out, and the guy who kept it/had rights to it etc. got a new narrator for the vids and turned it into a political mouthpiece. (Basically he sexually assaulted his Ex, the old narrator found out and quit, or something like that)
Since then it's made the videos that torched its reputation.
The biggest one being, if you play Nazis in a WWII video game where the PVP modes split you into being allied forces vs. axis powers, then you are a nazi and endorsing them tacitly or whatever the ***.
A take so bad it literally cut them down from several million subscribers to what you see now. Though they've had two channels for like idk... 13 years? The main one is actually, "Extra History." It still has over 3 million subs, as it wasn't the one that posted their controversial vids.
(Just like Game Theory, I don't watch them anymore without matpat)
I was never big on game theory, but I do like food and style theory. But I mean cute guy who cooks and fun girl rocking my style what's not to like!

I usually do this with a side of peas and mash potatoes
Lol subway bout to pull a redlobster. 12" churro for $2
Hello bankruptcy.
(not really, obviously. It's only a dollar cheaper than cinnabun sells it, and it means going to subway which should already be bankrupt)
So from what I'm reading, the new season of LOTR opens up with the screenplay trying to get the viewers to empathize with the orcs?? Trying to show that orcs are peaceful creatures who arent the embodiment of hatred??
Next spinoff of the walking dead will make an attempt at making the viewer feel bad for the zombies, they're just misunderstood. The survivors are actually the bad people in the story.
On another note, if they wanted to make a sympathetic villain with Tolkien's work, it would be really simple to do with Melkor/Morgoth.
Dude is a Lucifer analogue, but Eru in Tolkien's writings is kind of tacitly a douchebag to him. Just straight up let him wander the void and what not, looking for the Secret Fire of Creation for like eons, when he coulda just told him straight up, "Bro, it's part of the core of my being, and you can't use it/have it."
I saw some rumors going around because SE quoted someone on Twitter who said "before any new remakes, we need a ff13 remaster" and they replied "any reason for a remaster instead of a remake? :)"
JP FF14 players don't sound too happy with Yoshi-P's recent interviews, saying he should step down and FF14 is a sinking ship. I haven't played Dawntrail yet, but big oof.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
