Got an urge to go back to Digimon Masters Online after Digimon Con. Turns out the global release is no longer global; it's restricted to NA. So I pulled out a vpn, only to find the Leviamon server is gone. So I start a new character on Omegamon instead, and immediately lost all interest in playing again. :I

Checked out a Dragon Ball Online private server instead and having a blast playing that. A lot of the "collect 5 bear ***" quests are still untranslated, but the important stuff seems to all be done (though not very well in some instances). Got my *** completely destroyed in the first tournament I took part in. Even the kids division (level 30 cap) seems to be srsbsns, so probably going to hold off on anymore of those for a while. Just gonna enjoy the comfy grind while saving up enough zeni to buy Trunks' Bojack movie outfit.

Only 5 more levels until I can become an adult (and choose my advanced class). Q('w'Q)

yeah lol, but I liked having my favorites and I had them all with custom sounds from the dub. I think I had almost all of my favorites but it is super grindy and p2w lol. Too bad it was the only stable Digimon MMO, I think they are remaking it but thats been a thing for years now

lol apparently they closed that server and forced all the data to a different one, mine went to "alphamon" server. Thankfully my name was still there. Jeeze they changed a lot of stuff, looks like you can carry another digimon too

I wonder if all these FFXI channels popping up all of a sudden that use Korvana's cutscene channel for the majority of their video run time got in touch with Korvana to use the channel's footage.

Like I know it's just Korvana editing together the scenes at a bard, but there's something I feel that I can't quite articulate that feels kinda douchey about it, to me.

Very much so. The new tutorial gives you a free 5/5 egg and all the evolution items for it, plus blitzes you with exp to shoot you into endgame range, in an attempt to make it look more generous, but it's still the same RNGfest designed to get you to pay out the ***.

Something I should mention; inventory is incredibly limited at the start, and you can get expansions via quests or the shop, but the biggest (I think) expansions are the 32x slot ones that used to be in the cash shop. They're available for Tokens here, which you earn by killing mobs or completing quests.
Also the translation (where it exists) mostly sucks lol.

Im not sure if only because of the sickness or because I stopped drinking it for a couple of weeks, but lately, coffee have been tasting like sh!t to me for some reason.

I was never a fan of its taste, but had no problem drinking several cups during the day.

But right now, its being painfull to drink even a single one. Im not sure if it always tasted that bad

Scent and inability to smell (sick) will alter tastes. Tastes also evolve, they forget and crave as time passes. Scraping your tongue might also blow your mind.

Acquiring taste is really wild. You literally try something you hate until your brain says alright *** it we like this now.

dammit....so that's why old men live off of sauerkraut, cabbage, and keilbasa. The future is bleak.

Matpat like just did this food theory. They cabbage soup smells as a kid are d.i.s.g.u.s.t.i.n.g. but it's good.

There are a lot of things SE has done wrong with 11 lately and a lot of things historically they've done really well and deserve credit for.

One thing they really deserve credit for is not implementing some contagious plague in the game (I'm looking at you, DD2, EQ2, and WoW).
