Some companies have great HR and some don't, I find the more secure a person feels in their job as HR the less they care or feel untouchable. I am actually involved in legal proceedings with DSS for violating ADA protections.
Since the days I used to post here, I have been awarded a service connected disability from my time in the service. I applied for a job that gives preference to disabled and veterans but then was asked to provide documentation I was disabled, which I did with several certification letters and a form filled by my doctor. They demanded I release my medical records to them and when I said no they pulled my application. Whoopsies, you just discriminated against a disabled veteran.
I'm working with an organization that specializes in these sorts of things and provides legal representation. They are handling it all so I don't really know what is going on other than DSS is likely going to get a hefty fine and I might get a settlement though probably not anything life changing.
The U.S. Justice Department will “announce a major, international cryptocurrency enforcement action” on Wednesday, it said in a statement, without offering further details.
U.S. officials will announce the action at 12 p.m. (1700 GMT), the department said in a statement.
Crypto is officially illegal in T-300 seconds
lol well that was *** stupid
Next the DEA is gonna put out a huge press release about how they busted some high school weed dealer.
I'm so glad they extended the GBO2 network test, because I've been able to try out some new mobile suits and maps that weren't in when I played PS4.
And sweet ***, I still suck at space. Even years later my microbrain just can't deal with the 3-dimensional movement and enemies constantly get me from above/below. @_@;
But I do like Gundam Unit 04's Meme Beam. Long-*** charge time, and you can't move while charging, but chunks most units for like 90~95%% of their health if it hits.
Personally, I was always too innocent and never paid attention to this fact, but after people throwing that after Im adult, things starts to make sense.
For example, when the site says the one who most talks with Scooby is Shaggy than the others... means that all talks arent ore than hallocinations.
I always kinda freak out when most surreal cartoons can be explained with very realistic and brutal situations.
For example, imaginary friends like a child self defense psichology mechanism to resist the parents cruelty. Human animalization like the childs interpretation of human traits. Hallucionations coming from drugs. The classical take that a surreal world not being more than a representation of purgatory.
Every time someone tosses that some cartoon is a representation of purgation, it always disturbs me because basically all our reality can be interpreted as a purgatory.
And all of us could be just deads that arent aware of our situation...
The HR department didnt approve my vacation, and im about to yell with rage
Like, on what grounds did they deny it?
I can't recall a single time I've denied a vacation request. Even if it makes work inconvenient for a couple of days, the ill will it breeds is never worth it unless you literally do not care if your employees quit
This is a testament to how toxic the American workplace is.
Good on you for not denying vacation requests. Of course being short-handed will make things a little bit more difficult in the short term, but if you don't give people breaks, they lose their ***and the outcome is worse, I find.
The last of us on HBO was decent, didnt really pull me in that much but maybe it will get better. I should finally play that game after buying it like 3 times lol
I've only watched the first episode, but I've always liked the "origin" stories to zombie apocalypse. Apocalypsi? I like what I've seen so far.
I also like Pedro Pascal in anything I can think of that I've seen him in
Why cant square literally just bann botts and merge all servers? iv seen 1 yell today in the past 7 hours for 1 sortie pug wtf, Final fantasy that must not be named might be not a bad idea but i hate the endgame and the itemization.,,
Sorry, "revived", continued the story from 30 years ago, not rebooted.
I can't decide where on the spectrum the truth lies for why the vast majority of our tv and movie entertainment are reboots...is it closer to the frightened exec who only trusts 'proven commodities', or are unimaginative writers primarily at fault? My gut says its more on the execs 'trusting the algorithm' and there's a whole lot of frustrated writers with great ideas dying on vine.

Its a combination of things. One is flat laziness. Another easily could be that they own the property.

I think theres only one episode out now, they were like an hour and 30m though so I'm not sure how many there are.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
