Yeah but did you ever set those computer servers up first?

I haven't yet, and you're right, no more projects until that is done. I did manage to clean out about half of the stuff in the way though, so #progress.

Big difference between a bluetooth DAC like a BTR5 or qudelix and the bluetooth in a cheap soundbar though. It won't matter as much in a low end piece of equipment but in a lot of mid to high end bars bluetooth can be really bad at transmitting a high res signal without an amplifier to do the work for it, and at that point just get proper speakers.

Optical audio is better than anything else for basic consumer audio electronics unless you have some weirdo feature that you need to have that is HDMI only because it doesn't have to handle any of the noise you get from an electrical connection. Depends a lot on how much of a rats nest of power cables and other signal carrying cables you have around your audio cables.

I've known you for like 4 years. You, I, and the people of RT all know those servers will never be set up.

At this point it's more of how it will be set up than will. Then when is always a question, but I have things that need to be done first.

This "all of us are dead" the actors don't screw around. They really take playing a zombie serious as hell.

I mean, I've always gone probably twice+ the amount of minimum wattage I expect to use, it's less stress on the PSU and well, not like it's that much more anyway, at least for the modular ones.

I ugly cried at this movie called Along With The Gods: Two Worlds. Emotionally well-earned. Gradually revealing story interspersed with some creative action.

Right? I watched Train to Busan and I was super impressed with how creepy the movements of the zombies were. Is All of us are Dead too gory? I was going to watch it with mums.

It's bloody and wild. I'm not super far in though. A LOT of zombies smashing fullspeed into walls and out windows lol. Not a whole lot of stabbyshootie (cause its in a highschool lack of weapons)

it's also an 8ish hour miniseries, so it takes a hot minute to get zombying. so you can't give up on the first episode

There has been no evidence of a remake, remaster, or otherwise overhaul of the game. While I wouldn't totally discount the idea, I'd also say to not get your hopes up.

S-E has an obligation to uphold any product endorsed with their name to certain standards, and this is one of their flagship titles so those standards are going to be steep. There's no way anyone is making a rehash of this game that meets those QA requirements.

They were going to, though. They had every intention of remaking the game for mobile. But they pulled the plug on that. And given the sudden surge in popularity the game was receiving, it doesn't make sense for them to cancel it altogether. It makes more sense to me if they canned it to make room for a proper remake.

That's my worry. That even if we did get a remake, they'd screw it up somehow. I was so scared of the mobile remake coming out because my gut was telling me it was going to be absolutely riddled with microtransactions and other garbage.

My friend is currently streaming on Twitch the new "Chocobo GP" game on Switch. I've noticed a very common thread among modern Square-Enix games. Even though they bought the full game, the landing screen threw a bunch of ads and notifications and "daily login rewards" and stuff in their face.

It makes me really worried about any kind of remake for FFXI. The thought of having to close like 20 notifications every time I log in just makes my eyes roll to the back of my head.
