the thing is just cause tech giants decided to favor longer content doesn't mean ppl suddenly have more to say. the result is lots of digression and repetition to stretch the few valid points they have to 10+ minutes.
Last I heard from youtube, they were trying to do the opposite: to make youtubers to invest in quick medias to compete against TikTok.
I had one youtuber that was super sincere and made a video telling the algorithm was supposed to favor youtubers with less than a minute video.
Indeed, I do noticed the sugested videos selection changed a bit recently. Some obvious channels that always used to pop on my main page suddenly became rare.
