lol I accidentally scared the crap out of my bosses. I guess I never mentioned to them my disability since they hired me 6 months ago. But it came up when I was describing my weekend during our weekly meeting and they both thought for a second that I didn't have legs.
We only use Teams to communicate so they've never seen anything but my upper body on webcam. And it just never came up because I get to work from home with this company XD

  We moved last year into what we've discovered is a very Christian neighbourhood. And we know this because in addition to having 6 places of worship in about a 1/4-mile radius, we also received a wonderfully passive-aggressive anonymous note in our mailbox asking us why we didn't have any Christmas lights up yet at this time last year. We were about to put some up anyway, and we did later that week. But it's like damn, it's not even Remembrance Day yet, calm down lol
Though I do understand the note. We have a pretty continuous street, so getting it lit up does look nice. Not planning on putting up the tree until at least December though >_>; Your gif skills have greatly improved, hugs.

Natural that if some assumptions ends being very different from the real characteristic it can lead to some surprise. For example, if i see you in RL i would be surprise too. I would ask "hey, but I thought you were a mithra"

At first it was just skippable adds. Then it became 2 skippable adds. Moving on to 6-secs unskippable adds now 2 unskippable 15-secs ads. Youtube is slowing moving to become harder to watch platform. Its about time to a new platform to appear to take that post. No TikTok, thats ***. Not planning on putting up the tree until at least December though >_>; Its rather like Hanukkah candles in that regard even though this year Hanukkah starts well before the sun is all the way south. But at least we have a miracle to use for our candle tradition. I think it's just kind of absorbed into the season at this point. Regardless of how much the two connect, someone did leave us a note.
I'm not even trying to make a point about anything. I just thought it was funny how Hugs was using logic to show the absurdity of starting the decorating this early and yet some people are so invested in it that they force it on other people. They weren't wrong, though. Our long, continuous street is kinda nice to drive down when there's a fresh layer of snow with lights illuminating both sides. My rule of thumb is 11/1, anything before that for xmas is too early.
Before Halloween is utterly insane. Though I think it's courteous to wait until after Remembrance Day (11/11), at least in Canada. If I were American I'd probably wait until after Thanksgiving.
