I found her sitting in the foyer all alone as she had been for so many years. Sitting, staring at the blinding sunlight that poured in from above. She was youthful with dark hair and alabaster skin as pure as a driven snow.
Soon she got up to walk away as another resident walked through, I knew it was now or never.
She had rejected my advances so many times before and her father and I never saw eye to eye but I knew it was only a matter of time before our kinship blossomed into something...more. I clutched the ring in my back pocket as I approached her.
"Come with me." I said, looking into those once beautiful green eyes, now filled with a burning passion. Those eyes burned with a lonely yearning, a hunger if you will.
I led her out to the balcony where we could be alone and told her I had something I needed to give her, "Anything good?" she asked. After I handed over the ring we parted ways and she went back inside, I knew I'd have my answer soon or not at all.
It wasn't long before I realized I forgot to have her make me some bloodcursed elven arrows.
