One of our roommates moved out before daylight this morning.
He called me at 5pm (it's 915pm now) to tell me that he let one of our cats out when he left. They are strictly indoor cats. He KNEW that were to not be let out. If he let the cat out before daylight, he's loooong gone :/
Went out looking throughout the neighborhood, asks some people if they'd seen a cat, and just yelled for the cat for the past few hours. Posted a LOST ad on Craigslist and Facebook, and will be calling animal shelters in the morning in case someone got him and turned him over to a shelter.
Past that, I don't know what else to do. Other roommate (who owned this particular cat and who the cat bonded to) is heartbroken that the cat is gone and absolutely furious that this guy let him out. This cat is one of the oldest members of our family, we're just hoping he comes home soon. :(
If there was ever a time I wished Karma would bite someone hard in the ***, that time would be NOW.
I had a cat escape and turn up like 5 days later still in the area, so there is hope depending on the surroundings! A scared cat will not come out from being called, they will keep hiding and will need to be found and coaxed out with food/treat.
They don't go exploring because outside is a scary new place if they're primarily indoor.
Not a celebrity but.. I have a cousin who lives off of an inheritance, a disability check (some sort of severe epilepsy), and is a really good pool player, wins tournaments. He likes to buy cars and motorcycles cheap-ish, drive them awhile then trade them off and sell them.
Guy, 25 years old, was riding a motorcycle to work everyday, rain or shine, hot or cold, asked my cousin if he'd be interested in selling a 1990s Lexus for his motorcycle and some cash. Guy comes up like two counties over in the cold on a motorcycle to show my cousin (though he told him not to, he'd take his word for it) and put some money down on the car.
On his way back a car pulled out in front of him and killed him.
It seems like I hear of someone dying every day in 2016. >.>

Sorry to hear that Kojo. I was going to make a joke about the celebrity cousin in Oklahoma, but....naw.

I didn't know him, but 25 is too young.
Not really a cousin but I'm distantly related to Johnny Horton on my dad's momther's side...But he's been dead for decades I'm pretty sure.

Still sucks though.
I had a uncle who was murdered in cold blood. The guy who killed him was working with his wife (may she forever get assraped in hell, the ***) to try to claim his retirement fund from the government (he was a 1 star General for Korea and Vietnam Wars) and his life insurance.
Needless to say, he died in Texas, so she was fried to a crispy donut. Only real time I'm truly grateful for capital punishment.
I was 6 when he died, and I visited him often up until it happened.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
