Ugh, my brother puts plates in the sink with still scraps of food in them(then opens the water and the stuff floats all over the sink..). It's disgusting...throw that stuff in the garbage and then put the plate in the sink.

Been playing DD:DA quite a bit tonight.

Story follows:

Working on a quest to retrieve a tome from some bandits and they have me going to eliminate some other bandits.

So here I am trekking across the plains outside Gran Soren when I spot a cart and some guards being attacked by some goblins. I think to myself "no big deal, I'll just go save them". So I rush in and start slaughtering them all (the goblins). As I'm finishing up the last goblin a *** griffin dives in out of *** nowhere and lands right on top of me!

My initial reaction was "holy *** ***jesus christ waaaaaaaatttttttttt". But then I manage to get up and I climb on it's back to start waylaying it with my fire-enchanted daggers I found. As soon as I start thinking "okay I got this", it decides to take flight as I'm still on it's back. I ride it for a short distance before it shakes me off and flies away.

It doesn't come back. :(

So from there I head on towards my quest marker and I end up in a place called the Cursewood. (I'm sure this place will have lots of happy little trees ya know?) As I'm getting closer to my destination, night falls. Oh joy.

So I decide to continue on with my lantern equipped hoping the boogeyman doesn't grab me out from the darkness that is just barely outside my reach due to how lanterns work.

I wish the boogeyman was all there was out there. As I start to head up a slope I hear one my pawns yell something, but at pretty much the same time a *** CHIMERA JUMPS ON ME FROM BEHIND OUT OF NOWHERE. What in fresh hell is this place?

It proceeds to immediately poison my entire group with it's snake tail. Good thing I have herbs to cure poison because it was strong as ***.

I manage to hack off it's snake tail, then I climb onto it's back and start smacking the goat head, when it decides to grab me and throw me 20 feet away. RUDE!

Time passes and I get the goat head hacked off finally and around this time the *** finally catches on fire and proceeds to do it's version of STOP-DROP-ROLL.

At which point I'm able to really go berserk on it with Hundred Kisses, or what I like to call Stabby Death Move, which finally brings it down.

Soooo..... how hard can the actual quest location be? Right guys?

Just preordered FFXV, I hope I don't regret it. (I did the deluxe edition too...)

I think the last FF title I actually played a good bit was FFX-2, I never played XII (RL reasons at the time, and just never bothered to go back and do it), XIII (tried it a bit, but no more than 15 minutes or so, it's other parts, nope).

So here's hoping it's decent.

I was actually confident enough to go ahead and pre-order the ultimate collector's edition the moment it became available.
And I initially started as one that was dancing between cautious optimism and outright bitter skepticism; especially after that whole Sydney debacle. But I'll just quote something I posted earlier in the XV thread that you might see eye to eye with me on.
