I've watched a lot of his stuff. He's starting to go a little SJW in his vids and that can get rather annoying, but overall he's usually pretty good at what he does.
Are you referring to all the charity work he does that he tags on the end of some of his reviews? I can see why that might break up the tone he sets in his shows, but I gotta hand it to the guy. Unlike some big name celebrities who only do charity for PR, it seems like Doug (being like an internet F-list celebrity) wants to genuinely use what little fame he has to make a difference, so I can't fault him for that. He's doing a lot more than people with more than him has done.

That being said, the way he rips into the movies I loved as a kid makes me realize how much of an idiot I was when I was younger because these issues are so glaringly obvious. Plus his freakouts just crack me up.

Nah, I'd never fault someone for putting in plugs for charity work. I just get annoyed when he injects politics into his videos. I tune in to see him rip on movies, not make social commentary. He's not nearly as bad about it as some of the others on ChannelAwesome and his videos are usually high-quality, so I tend to let it slide.
