LOL Same guy, different ***. The short version of it is he had someone call us and ask us to bring his wood-burning stove to him so we did yesterday morning but since he's crazy we set it off at the curb so he couldn't shoot us for being on his property. Apparently setting something off at the curb is an insult to his wife and he spent all day texting another of my cousins and my dad threats and *** all day. >.>

Yeah, we're done. Whole family is. He sent my dad a text insulting him, me, and my brother, and telling my dad that my grandpa (deceased) would look down on him for how he raised my brother and me and he'd praise him for how he raised his. My grandpa hated him. lol

He also said he no longer considered us family, to which we all just said "Good."

I heard from someone that a college is going to be hiring a junior administrator soon, but the job posting is not listed yet. They DO have a listing for a senior position that I am not qualified for.

Trying to decide how to approach it. Should I send in a resume and letter of interest and say I heard around they are going to be hiring for a junior position soon. OR - Should I send in that stuff and state that I saw the opening for the senior position and while I recognize I don't meet those requirements I would like to have them have my info on file if they ever have a position open up below that?

The first seems to me like it might make them "WTF where did you hear this?!?!" while the 2nd option kinda makes me start off with a negative kinda feel (I know I'm not good enough for blahblah but maybe dahdahdah...)

Any thoughts?

I could, but I prefer not to. I only drink socially, and my preferred drinking buddy is too busy with work, and at most I'd get buzzed, sober up and call it a night after a few hours.
