more like a random question that's been popping into my head for awhile, but: how long should one be in a relationship before you ask a girl to marry you? <_>
my sister and her bf have been dating for around 6 years i believe
edit:
and i believe william and kate dated for 9 years
do you live with her?
We got an apartment a few days ago, moving in together in June :p

Marriage is overrated. As long as you two are happy living together, leave it be.

4 years 3 months 12 days 5 hours 11 minutes 32 seconds
Is that your playtime on XI?:P
not even if you measure in time since i started as opposed to logged in time :o
in all seriousness, long enough for the last spark of hormonally induced "romantic love" do die, and long enough to see clearly that there is still something there after it does

Don't be a negative nancy!
:P
I encouraged living together.
Speaking of which, where's my dinner =(!
But honestly, if you've both expressed interest in it.. then you gotta decide when it's right. I've seen people wait years.. i've seen em wait months. Everyone's different so it's hard to say :3
There is no 'right time' to ask.. If you're made for each other and love each other, then there's no reason you should wait 6 months or even years before proposing.
Just make sure it's real love, and not infatuation..
People are generally warned against proposing after a short time, simply because a majority of them weren't in love, they were in lust, and things just go down hill from 'I do'.
I think when you know, you know and there is no time limit should be set -
I also believe that age should be irrelevant (obviously both people being legal)
and gender should have nothing to do with the equation
IF two people LOVE each other, make each other HAPPY and are harming NOONE else in the process..Who cares how they met, how long ago they met, or any of that other crap?
If more people loved one another and stop trying to be such self righteous @$$es maybe we wouldnt have so much ignorant hatred and violence in the world..
Why on earth would you have a show called "Extreme Couponing" |:
because you're jealous that you cant buy 2 years worth of groceries in one go and not only not spend any money by using coupons but you used so many coupons that the store actually owes you money.

This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
