If games keep up with this pace thats only 2 Games and the OS. Nvidia Titan X or gtfo !
I usually only spend $100~$150 on a mobo. The expensive ones tend to just have more bells and whistles that never get used.

I'm basically running my laptop on my 37" monitor nowadays, so its normally at 1920x1080 res, but only really able to run XIV well at a lower setting or Full-screen

Gotcha, I do the same now days. Running 3 monitors really isn't that taxing on a videocard if your game is just on one screen (1920x1080) but when you run games with all monitors acting as 1 monitor (5k resolution as seen in my above picture on TERA) you need MOAR POWER *Tim the Tool Time Taylor laugh* and the middle tier cards will start having trouble. However you can SLI the middle tier cards and get pretty good results, usually better then 1 card of the top tier.
