Thats because with the confirmation of FFXI ending, ffxiah became too emo.

I think ending is too harsh, I'm pretty sure it was just the final conclusion to the story, and after that there would only be minor bug fix updates and stuff, as well as it becoming a PC only game.
There will still be plenty of things you can do, but just like it always has been—what you find worth doing is entirely up to you.

Really should have done it years ago when I bought the game lol YouTube Video Placeholder To be real, I think quitting in spite is doing more to kill XI than SE's odd ways of doing things. I quit because my friends were my reason for playing and they quit so I have no reason to play XI, but if you enjoy it, you're kinda stupid not to continue playing it.
I still think SE is making some whacky decisions but they aren't what will kill XI. just discovered the smooth scrolling extension for chrome. omg so nice, was hoping google would add a smooth scrolling option themselves and finally got annoyed that it hasnt happened

And since I don't eat much candy, I tend to have a lot of it. Seriously, a candy cane (as an example) will last me from Christmas to Easter. I don't think I've ever finished a candy cane, maybe once or twice.
I've never even seen one in rl.

They can come in all kinds of flavors here, so let me know and i'll try to find one to your liking. I always pick one out because it's a flavor I haven't tried before, but I never keep it :<

I think the lowest I've seen the early bird prize on Goblin was 157MGP.
So even if you lose, you make your money. I actually got Rank 4 today lol. Was kind of surprised. I play the same number every week on Sargatanas and Excalibur. COME ON 8791!!!
