Problem with guns is you can fall prey to getting a 'death grip' from adrenaline and emptying the clip instead of running or swapping to a melee weapon. I'm not sure what survival gear includes.
But definetely first aid kit and hygiene items. 4 items...
Military grade sleeping bag First aid kit (some kits can include specific hygiene items, though others can be made) I'm a bladed weapon user, so I'd go with one of the katanas I already own I'd also carry a portable water purification system, since this is about survival
