Love my online friends and they're still far above most if not all friends who are in closer vicinity but sometimes face-to-face time is missed.

Got a raise near the beginning of September, I get paid bi-weekly and the last 2 paystubs I've gotten I'd noticed the raise hadn't shown up yet. Assumed it was just paperwork in transit and generally didn't think anything of it.
Turns out the lady who does our payroll simply forgot to give me my raise. She came down from the office freaking out and practically in tears, saying "it's all her fault" and "she's a terrible person" blah blah.
I'm just sitting here like, not even caring. She's so worried I was gonna be pissed, but she's like the nicest person ever, couldn't get mad if I tried. :<
Dunno why someone would get so upset over something so trivial, she's going back and changing it so I'll get the money I'm missing so it's not that big a deal. Women are crazy.

a lot of people live paycheck to paycheck so missing out on potential extra money could be huge for someone in a financial burden. She probably had a few encounters with some upset people in the past

Apparently after talking to my boss, she was so distraught because the owner of the company and my boss are *** and made her feel terrible about it. Not pleased when people feels the need to get mad at someone for me, especially if it's something I wouldn't have gotten mad about in the first place.

So I'm sitting here at my computer, programming away, just heard a giant smashing sound behind me. Sounded like someone hitting the door with a freaking sledgehammer. scared the ***out of me. Gotta go out and make sure there aren't any reprobates hanging around the shop now. This is turning into an eventful friday night. :/

Edit: No reprobates, turns out a 50amp fuse blew in my machine.




The first image, a piece of the fuse, fell onto the case of extra fuses and almost melted through. :o

Gamestop came really close to being awesome today.

I found enough used games I wanted to renew my pro membership and pay for it with discounts. On top of that the guy that rang me up offered to let me return 2 games, rebuy them with the coupon from my first purchase, and then buy them back to get a free used game.

Overall I had come out with $3 in discounts after getting my membership and then the free game. Not bad....

Then I got home, opened the case for animal crossing I got for my GF... and the wrong *** game is in it. GDI Gamestop, you just have to make me hate you.

According to this error message, there's damage to a mosfet transistor on the pulse control board for my machine. hope the board is serviceable, cause I know from experience that this particular one is over $10k for a new one...
It's not my money that'd pay for it, but every repair the company has to do could take away from profit sharing.
