Sora is a Kingdom Hearts character since that's the first game he appeared in. Squall, Cloud etc are Final Fantasy characters since that's the series they're from originally.

Could one not argue that Kingdom Hearts is a spin-off of Final Fantasy, and as such is a Final Fantasy game?
Hardly a FF spinoff, more like a its own game with a bunch of cameos.

It's not a spinoff because it doesn't have crystals etc that you find in all the other FFs. It's its own thing

Kingdom Hearts does have crystals, also a lot more in common with FF than just character cameos, summoning and the entire magic system, and you can't tell me that spells like Esuna, Gravity, -ara and -aga are not related to FF.

Doesn't matter, they're not actual crystals. There are more things though and it was made with original characters + FF cameos, it was never created as an FF spinoff.
KH shouldn't appear in Curtain Call regardless of sora's standing.
music is not unique enough, and don't want Disney-ish songs in the game. I am right this moment painfully, purposefully, and stubbornly willing myself back into Salvage to get into the groove of things again.
