I can't wait to make more gil off people in big FCs lol, my plants need to grow faster
just fed him 5 valfruits for 1 msg, it should darken the blue by reducing green, but might make purple. guess we'll see in 6 hours
Which one are you going for?
Royal or Peacock blue, might decide to lighten it again later but wanna see what these look like on my bird. Had considered a dark red but eh, maybe next time. in hindsight I suppose a few apples wouldve been better than the valfruits, but I may need to pump up blue some more either way to offset the red/magenta. anyways off to work, will report back when i get home
I was going for Royal Blue first but it's a bit too dark for my taste
I wonder what causes all the variation people are reporting though
i doubt it's a formula of fruits that can be followed. in my experience so far, the chance to get a "Chocoboname is beginning to grow new feathers" message seems to be random (from base desert yellow, it took me 6 pineapples for a message whereas it took an FC mate only 3). It probably takes x amount of messages to reach each color since each message denotes a color change, so people's results would change based on the number of messages received. I remember something saying that feeding snacks has a "chance" to cause the feathers to change color, so it could just be that.
Took me 2 for my first message, I had no idea you needed so many back then though so had to wait another 6 hours before I could feed the rest of the fruit lol (30 dark blue, 10 dark green)
but yeah, so far I've just been using basic RGB guesswork to add/subtract color based on what type of color I'm aiming for; when I get a message, I give a few more fruits if I need heavy saturation (so lots of berries to put a bias on blue), then a few to subtract another color (doman plums to remove red for a light blue/cyan). hopefully by subtracting a small amount of green, it will move away from cyan and into deep blues. i fear it may jump straight into purples without some more blue though.
anyways off fo realz. have to hope them ishgardian honies don't swarm peckington while I'm gone, he's so fine that the females gonna be all over him uhg PSN is down, at least for PS4, fine on PS3 but vita only half ways ;/
edit: now in e-maint... didnt know SE ran the servers lol   Eventually (either once I can buy the berries or get a plot in the FC garden) want to go for dalamud red for my choco, just gotta figure out the right combo (seen like 5 of them so far)
