well some kids are already going back/on the verge of going back to school.
Kids here in Michigan don't go back in until after Labor Day, because otherwise it affects tourism apparently.

It's the end of July, a lot go back to school in a matter of 2-3 weeks, if not sooner.

I went to Walmart last week to pick up some teaching supplies, and they had a back to school section. It looked like a nuclear bomb exploded in there. It looked like a Ross. Notebooks and pencils strewn all over the place. It was *** ridiculous.

Wtf, Iowa? How are you American and still surprised by this stuff! I dunno. I guess I just fear for the habits of my country, sometimes. Still haven't ruled out the possibility of moving to Canada one day.
Ouch lol yeah one of the reasons I refuse to give walmart any money. The only reason I went there was because I got a gift card there and I couldn't afford anyplace else, but I really needed some supplies for my classroom. I basically didn't have a choice.

But you're right it's pretty close to August technically lol Schools here start in early september, universities late october.

I wasn't saying that because of you. I abhor how Walmart treats their employees and tries to dominate all other small businesses in the cities they inhabit. There's a reason their products are so cheap. Their practices aren't what I would call ethical.
That being said, right now I don't have a choice. If I did though, I would opt out of going to Walmart. There are many other better stores to choose from.

McDonald's and coke-cola serve many times more people than Walmart but Walmart is still a way bigger company. McDonald's was like #25 on the list I'm not concerned with "served" but employees more so, I wonder if the McDonalds numbers would include the franchises, hmm, prolly not.

I go to Meijers, which is a regional chain here akin to Walmart, over Walmart. At least the money is going back to a tried and true American company, well sorta speak. The money comes back to the local economy

I did 45 minutes of P90X's Cardio workout, and according to their calculator, I worked off... 929 calories. Basically, I need to eat another 1100 calories just to get the 1200 for my bare minimum for the day.

For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
