So I bought the Mario and Luigi Dream Team 3DS XL Bundle a few days ago, and did a System Transfer from my old DS to the XL.

And apparently upon doing so, I completely lost the Mario and Luigi game AND my 3DS XL thinks it's my 3DS.

I've spent the last few days calling Nintendo Support's Administration Office and the serial number of my 3DS XL appears to be invalid, even though it's clearly printed on the system AND on my Walmart receipt. The old 3DS is also not showing it had performed a System Transfer and the 3DS XL has my NNID registered on it and it thinks it's the old 3DS.

Unfortunately, they cannot reimburse me the game even though I've paid for it, because they cant see where the game was originally installed. They are unable to re-add it to my NNID Download list because of this, and they don't have any download codes they can issue, so my only option is to re-buy the game. The rep offered me a discount on a physical copy of the game, but only $10 off (making it $30) but I am terrible at keeping up with the tiny game cards, which is why i've converted to buying downloads and having a rather large SD Card.

Uggghhh!!! Well....at least the XL works. The rep has a hunch that the system may have been tampered with, but I did not see any evidence of tampering when I bought/opened it and it appears to be functioning normally.

If anyone happens to have a download code for Mario and Luigi Dream Team they are willing to sell/trade/donate, I'd appreciate it. ^^;

Simple solution, return the 3DS XL to Walmart and get a brand new one. Make sure that it has not been opened before you leave the store, and do it all over again.

That would be simple if I still had the box to return it in. I've already asked. Since it has been opened, it falls under the "pre-owned" category and falls under this rule:

Defective pre-owned (refurbished) video game software can be returned within 90 days with a receipt and the original packaging. Defective units may be exchanged for another unit of a different title if original title is not available.

If you must know the nitty gritty of it, my wife only goes out with other women (two to date after 5 years). I seem to lack a vagina, so it doesn't bug me. Seeing as it tends to lead to the occassional threesome, it still doesn't bother me. I just wouldn't be horribly upset about another man or couple.

On the flip coin, I don't like men (nothing homophobic, just not my thing) however my wife is okay with me going out with other women and enjoys watching.

Like someone said before, as long as you both are okay with the arrangement and can handle it, then that's perfectly fine. Most people couldn't handle something like that (because of jealousy issues and whatnot), so more power to you. I hope everything works out for you. :)

To be honest, I gotta kinda agree with Flavin. I think people should be allowed to do what the wish when it comes to romance but you also need to think of the girl, ***happens and sometimes feelings get too strong, be careful or you'll hurt her.

I don't hide that I'm married and I'm honest if it is brought up. But I don't exactly throw it around on a first date. If things go well I bring it up before a second date, and I won't sleep with someone before they know.

Not out to play with anyone's feelings, and I make that clear too. If I like someone enough, they just have to accept my wife as well.

Learning to drive manual is certainly interesting. I just did a (little bit sloppy) 3-point turn while facing uphill without stalling it.

Then when I pulled into the gas station, I stalled 3 times at the pump just trying to get to where I could reach the nozzle.

I have an old Willys Jeep with a 3-speed transmission, 1st to 2nd is non-synchro, 2nd to 3rd is normal. I always end up grinding when I forget to double-clutch.

About a month after I learned how to drive manual I went on a stroll through some of the high grade roads in SanFran and it was one of the biggest mistakes of my life, so effing scary

I did fine though but I hate driving there even with a small automatic saturn.

I want to change the title to "Forced to tear down your house over swag?"
