That would be easier to remember if you relate the second word of each one to the whole sentence, and since it declares and action, it would be loads easier to relate.

Welp, the old geezer's doing really good. His blood sugar's down into the 300s, which is a helluva lot better than 500+. He was the most energetic and awake than I've seen him in the past few weeks. He's going to be diabetic, but we all knew this was coming. So, tonight's not so bad after all.
