Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

I should be flying out to AZ again next month. Brother's wedding, wooo!

I'd like to be able to tell you that, but it's different for everyone. I really think you will get over it. It's not that bad. To me it's actually calming once in the air.

Only time I've ever been afraid was when I flew from D.C. in one of those little propeller plane thingers!



I was nervous the whole time. It was storming. Flying through dark clouds and above them, etc. All the adrenaline was fun from being scared, but I just wanted off the damn thing asap, lol.

The awkward part of flying is takeoff. You'll feel the negative Geforce for a bit (nothing major like a roller coaster, just slight pressure) after that it's very dull and bland and pretty easy to sleep through the flight.

If you have any good books or some movies to put on your i-pod/whatever it passes the time faster if you can't sleep.

I think you'll be fine once the plane takes off and you see there really isn't much to it.

I have been on bunch of flights but just one time I had a bad experience. I guess I didn't know I had an ear infection so my ears would not pop and just was in terrible pain the whole time D: good thing it was a short flight :(

I'm really hoping I only get sent on big jetliners.. I know the small propeller ones don't have as good of a safety statistic to them..

Everything I've read has said the take off is what people generally find to be the worst part, not really looking forward to it. I hate roller coasters, like *** hate them.

I already know what my reaction is going to be when I finally get the call to head out, because I was about to get it just a few days ago but they decided to send another crew.. It's simply:
I'm also kinda screwed on the ears popping thing.. Wearing my teeth hurts after a couple of hours and I can't chew gum or anything without them. So either way I'm going to end up in pain for extended period of time assuming it's not a short flight. Alaska is one of the possible places I'm going to be sent, company just signed a years long deal out there. Alaska is like an 18 hour flight or something.

Well bed time for me. Will probably see me around tomorrow too..

Perhaps rollercaoster was the wrong image.. more like a high speed bank in a car or accelerating into a turn in a car that has some decent horses in it.

You can pop your ears by flexxing your jaw with a yawn or plugging your nose and blowing. Most the flights I've been on my ears equalized by themselves. The technology in cabin pressure is pretty good these days.

Backreading all this talk of flying makes me want the summer to come sooner. ._. Can't wait to get back down to Texas for A-Kon.

I only have two fears flying out of here (DC) and its during Ice Conditions (A plane back in like 82 or 83 fell into the Potomac during take off cause of ice and second the course planes have to fly into the airport follows the Potomac, I believe it to be due to strict FAA requirements, prolly due to the important buildings around here getting planes run into and all.

Ah, but that site is great, I couldn't get to it yesterday for somebody and had to install everything manually, I wanted to /wrists as it was taking forever.

Firefox has the thing like google now where you can have an "account" and have your favorites/passwords etc saved in that.

Been thinking about the RX-80-PR, and I realized something; the shoulder boosters and gatling gun are like those used on the RX-78-5. Makes me wonder if they'll be releasing kits of other side story units. Would love a HGUC Efreet Nacht, or RX-78-6 Mudrock. :o
