33 years. Voyager got back to the alpha quadrant in 2376 iirc, and STO takes place in 2409.

Been reading the Path to 2409 on the wiki recently; would be awesome if we got a series set around some of the events like the Hobus supernova. :<

Also, really wanna know wtf happened to the Enterprise E and Captain Data. >_> <_<

Hope Data got some happy ending besides just Captain. He did Captain the Sutherland damn well.

2373: The Enterprise averts a major temporal incursion in the Battle of Sector 001.

2375: The Enterprise crew convinces the Federation Council to allow the Ba'ku to remain on their planet.

2379: The Enterprise defeats the warbird I.R.W. Scimitar in the Battle in the Bassen Rift.
William T. Riker is promoted to Captain and takes command of the U.S.S. Titan.
Deanna Troi joins her husband William Riker as Commander aboard the Titan.

2385: Captain Picard resigns his commission and becomes Ambassador to Vulcan.
Beverly Crusher is promoted to Captain and commands the U.S.S. Pasteur.
Geordi La Forge goes on a sabbatical to pursue his own experiments and designs such as restoring Data's persona and creating the Jellyfish prototype.
Worf resigns his commission and becomes Ambassador to Qo'noS.
The Enterprise undergoes a year-long refit.

2386: Carrying Data's restored positronic net, B-4 assumes command of the Enterprise.

2397: Commander Nog is recommended as Chief Engineer by Captain Geordi La Forge of the U.S.S. Challenger.

2408: The Enterprise investigates the loss of contact with Starbase 236.

2409: The Enterprise-F is commissioned, implying her predecessor is no longer in service.

Also in a book or something I recall Q having Picard and Worf stop an even more powerful race of beings on a planet. This was before Picard retires and Worf resigns.

IIRC, I think Riker wanted Data as his commander but Picard denied him saying Data deserves a shot at Enterprise Captain Chair. /shrug. This is all mis matched stuff in my head I bet.

None of that is probably canon to STO. Aside from stuff from the series and films, only STO novels are definitely canon. Makes sense that they'd avoid other novels when you consider that there are so many alternate takes on what happens to Kirk/Picard/Janeway/etc that it's literally impossible to fit them all into one timeline.

I'd like Data to show up in one of the upcoming seasons.
