Dang :-( There's not a single tattoo artist in my town that has a bad reputation. We have three places here and another couple about 15 minutes away, and all of them have really good reputations. It's scary for you that the ones with bad reputations are even still allowed to operate there!

Ears are fine. I used to have my ears done, and just about everyone I know has their ears done. But eyebrows, lips, tongues, cheeks, chins, noses, nipples... they just creep me out. :-(
I wouldn't think about nipples, tongue, "nether" regions, or eyebrows, nose ... I dunno.. guys with nose piercings? Lip and chin seem ok to me lol.

Well, this is outrageously hypocritical of me, considering I have two tattoos and plan to get more, and tats and piercings just seem to go together. But every time I see someone with a facial stud, I think it's a pimple unless I get a good look at it. They just look acne-ish, I don't know why. When I see people with the hoops in their noses, it reminds me of a bull. Like this:
Just because it's always something that has been done to animals. It seems degrading for a person to intentionally make themselves look like a cow. (But again, tattoos could be considered brands, which also go on cattle. I'm a rotten hypocrite for disliking piercings.) Honestly, if I had a boyfriend who had a tongue or lip piercing, I'd make him take it out before kissing me because it grosses me out. :-(

When I was in high school I used to have alot of piercings. I had both of my tragi done (the cartilage flap on the inside of your ear), my lip on both sides, my nose, and 1/2" plugs.
I'm cleaned up now, though. Short hair and everything gone except one tragus, and 7/8" plugs.
