I need to get a raid card myself, jut don't have the money for it right now.

Basically when I put the SSD in the tray it didn't give me enough clearance (or room ... or space... whatever lol) to plug the SATA cable in (it wasn't flush up against the edge) the bottom two trays give you the space to do that (it basically doesn't have a cage around it)
Starting sometime this week I'm beginning my 2014 cosplays. Will be working on them on and off whenever I get free time. :3 I'm nervous because I will be doing a lot of things I have little experience with, such as molding and painting thermoplastics and working with big weapons, which require cardboard base and spray foam to cut and shape.

also unless for some reason you want the inside of your case to look flawless, you can just let SSDs hang wherever. no mechanical parts, nothing can break unless you smack it against something really, really hard.

also this SSD cloning program isn't working :(... silly samsung and their crapass programs.
do a reinstall... for serious.

may need to change a setting in your bios, make it primary, I'd also make sure your hd is set in ahci mode, not ide, so you can use the extra features of sata. (it may not even have the setting).
make sure you back up your data on another drive as well, just in case, and or unplug your old drive, just so it doesn't reinstall on it.

yeah I mainly have all my junk on my other HDD anyway so that's not an issue (only stuff on boot drive currently is ... the OS I hope :/) I would imagine (?) AHCI is already enabled ... Maybe?! (as far as I can tell all my drives are connected via SATA... I think, I didn't look at the other drives when I was putting in the new one)
I'm downloading the install files for Windows now... takes about 40 minutes.

re: all this windows talk - I installed windows via USB drive for the first time the other day. I didn't actually expect it to be much faster than doing it from the DVD, but I was proven wrong. Windows 8 probably not so much since that installs fast as it is, but for 7 it felt noticeably faster.
