There isn't much more to say about it, really. She wanted me to go with her on Tuesday to a party with her friends (the guy she's into is going to be there), but I'm thinking that she's the only person there I'll know, and the others will want to spend time with her, which means I'd basically be stuck in a corner with a beer or something while she has a good time. So, I'm thinking about dropping her off there and letting him take her home. Another part of me wants to tell her that I've changed my mind and don't want to hang out with her at all.

I never enjoyed the idea of completely cutting off ties with people like that, but that's a personal thing and I'm sure I've said it multiple times on this site before. I wonder if perhaps the party invite is a hint like "Maybe you'll like one of these other fine ladies." *shrug* All in all, it's your choice whether you go or not, but if you do make it so you're not just that guy in the corner with a beer.

I've always hated when women do that. "I don't want to be with you, but I'm sure one of my friends that you've never met might have an inkling of something in common with you." It's a lovely way to pawn me off to get me out of her hair. And I didn't mean cut off ties entirely, but more like not hang out with her for the night. Maybe I'll say that my brother had something he wanted me to do with him that night or something.

I saw Smaug tonight. I really was kinda disappointed. The movie had one fun scene (though it was lengthy) and the expected epic cgi. Little spoiler I guess.. The least enjoyable of the five made so far imo.

I watched Desolation of Smaug in IMAX 3D about two weeks ago and thought it was amazing.
