Oh sharing the dream I had last night:
my rp forum had expanded to a subsection of this website and among the various characters there was one made by Scragg who was an evil animated sandwich that possesses people who bite it. Had an intriguing background too, it was born from a satanic ritual during which the soul of a demon was sealed in the sandwich that just happened to be there as a snack for the summoner.

I think the "ask" threads are more than asking questions, but it's sort of like a fun way to bring someone into the spotlight for a limited time. Unfortunately, that also leads to the fact that it turns into a "look at me!" thread and some people don't get the opportunity to get grilled in turn. Plus, that influx of "ask" threads made it seem disingenuous. A fun idea, though.

You should know that 99% of people who would build a party around that with it being the main focus are going to be immature about it.
