Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?

If there's anything I've learned since moving out into the world on my own, it's that your parents only have their life experience to go on. Anything outside of that... you're on your own. My mother can barely give me any advice on anything(though her cooking and words of encouragement always make me feel splendid). My father has been the most helpful in my adult years, though he was not so helpful in my formative years.
That's just my family and take on it though. I wasn't talking about that, anyway. I was just relating what you made me think of.

Vyre! And Xax if you read, yesterday at retirement home my company is rehabbing, I had to get some measurements in an occupied unit. The tenant was there, and he was a Navy Vet, had a USS Hornet cap too! I didn't ask which CV-8 or CV-12 tho. =/ But he made me smile! Navy Vets usually do. ... Grandpa... ; ;

So I know of a few sites (kinda) but anyone know any really good sites for learning basic guitar stuffs? Hopefully will get everything by monday... if i'm lucky... >.>
Free is good ... or cheap if possible.

Nice I used to play a lot I kinda got tired of guitar. Well when I stopped learning new songs I lost interest.

If you can read guitar tabs (not too difficult) and you listen to the song over and over you might be able to learn it that way. I had to have someone show me how to play the songs it was a lot easier that way.

I would suggest playing with other people if possible also it helped me a lot. Even if you are just playing the same song.

yeah I have rocksmith on my PC from a steam sale not long ago, just gotta grab the cord for it, I want to get the 2014 one and probably will next paycheck.

Learning an instrument requires some patience and dedication, cause at first you'll just be there repeating the same chords over and over until you are fluid with them and, in the case of a guitar, you position your fingers properly to make the sound come out clean. And then there's..uh, dunno the english name, we call it bar, which is a painful experience till you harden your skin.
