Lol I`m not a big fan of that kinda stuff, that's what it reminds me of though.
From what little I've seen, not so much. While I'll give you it is similar to the power rangers, as Japan knows them, I wouldn't say the "rider" part of the title has any thing to do with vehicles(at least from the recent ones).
Also keep in mind the "power rangers" shows of Japan are a bit more complicated and often darker than the stuff we got here in the US. spoiler alert:

Just had my hair cut for the first time in like 2 years... My head feels so light. :|
