Anyone know of a way to manually update XiV? friend is having some weird issues, can't seem to figure out why.

As for your friend and his issues, try a Doctor. yeah checked out krizz and his site, nothing on ARR (even if it was just the files ... i'd be happy with that lol)

I'm about to just send him my whole squeenix folder (if that works?!?) Idaho isn't any better than Texas. xD (Except I don't like deserts, but I'm so close to the Nevada desert I'm practically in it anyways. Desert in the summer, snowy in the winter. What gives.)
