Hibachi is the best mmmm.

Having a wonderful time here. I'm sure I will til the moment I have to leave. =p We've been keeping busy and going out a lot. Spent some time with his family and then dates and stuff.

You should see the Medieval times picture I made him take with me and the dude acting as king... He won't let me show anyone mwahaha

Just look for japanese restaurants that do 'Teppanyaki' where you live, they are pretty much all over the world. One of the best ones i've ever been to was in Amsterdam of all places: http://www.sazanka.nl/en/Home.html

Also, this crazy old guy built a real deal castle here. They have evened all during spring and early summer. If you drive out that way it's not unusual to see people in tights or dressed up like princesses pumping gas.

I wish it was still beta time. Now I have to face the harsh reality that my student teaching starts in two weeks on the dot and I still have a bunch of ***to do. After getting through 50 pages of Jane Eyre last night though, I have to say that I didn't hate it. Right now it feels like I'm reading a non-magical version of Harry Potter. Like, to the letter.

It does have ghosts, though.

I'd say it's more like Big O than any other modern mech series. You could throw any of the Jaegers into Big O or any of the Bigs into Pacific Rim, and neither would really stand out as being out of place (barring the fact that Bigs have humanoid faces).
I wouldn't be surprised to see them together frequently in Super Robot Wars if PR is a big enough hit in Japan to warrant it's addition to the series.
