I enjoyed Emily Bronte's work. Wuthering Heights was delightfully dark.
Charlotte Bronte on the other hand... I spent a page reading about the decorations in a room, and I have another 400+ pages to go.
Jane Eyre sucks.

lol he's doing really well, ty. He's not sleeping for ***right now, though >< His doctor said babies do that around his age, they hit a growth spurt. Basically blah blah, his brain is over-active right now so it's hard for him to sleep. He's a whopping 10lbs, too (half of that being the ears his daddy gave him)! He's also completely bald on the top of his head now because he's always got his hands on his face or his head and he rubbed all the damn hair off lol

Spoons, when he gets older, you'll have to tell him about the time you almost gave him the middle name of "Magnus".

The real question is if it ever does build suspense will it be as much of a let down!

He's got some crazy big feet and long *** toes, too. Ovr's work provides mats to Nike so everyone that works where he does gets a shoe discount from them. We're thinking that's going to come in handy when he's older lol

Imagine if the lady actually wrote down Gayson...
"Mom, dad....I wanted to tell you....I'm gay...."
"Oh thank god, now that error on your birth certificate actually works"
"What?!"
"We've been lying to you, the lady didn't write Grayson....she wrote Gayson...."

The real question is if it ever does build suspense will it be as much of a let down! This is what the introduction reads:
When a book is beloved by readers and hated by contemporary critics, we should suspect that a revolution in consciousness is in progress. This was certainly the case with Jane Eyre. The pseudonymous author, Currer Bell, was blamed for committing the "highest morel offence a novel writer can commit, that of making an unworthy character interesting in the eyes of a reader." The book was said to be mischievous and vulger, pandering to the public's taste for "illegitimate romance." As for the character of the heroine, "Jane Eyre is throughout the personification of an unregenerate and undisciplined spirit . . . she has inherited in fullest measure the worst sin of our fallen nature--the sin of pride."

In regards to your first comment Mag....
As for the second comment....I say we do classic British Epic Poetry.... :3 ....or Drama. British or Greek both work.

I used to looove reading. I never had much of a favorite, just whatever was handed to me. I started getting bad migraines after an accident though and focusing on books made them worse so I stopped. I miss books!
Also, if I did this to Sam when he got older, how much do you think he'd loathe me?

You could give him a rats tail, he'll think it's cool when he's 6....when he's 16 he looks back and questions everything he ever knew....
My cousin used to talk about how awesome his was....saw him 10 years later and brought it up....he walked away....

I saw we just do all the Oedipus tragedies so we can feel better about our lives. "Least I didn't kill my dad and impregnate my mom with deaf mute half siblings!"

Bit weird at parts but it's a great piece of literature with how it mocks the hero cycle and the idea of knights and chivalry.

This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
