Being broke is one of bests relationship tests. If you can live together for a year off nothing but ramen noodles and stick it out, you're golden. And I really mean nothing but ramen.

I got lucky.
Given each of our skills Az and I can cook pretty much anything between the two of us.
Not gonna lie, we're a pretty badass tag team in the kitchen.
don't let him lie to you. The only thing he's good at making is an omelette.
Joking. :P He might even be better than me at cooking. I was so bad after not having cooked for uhh half a year or so. lmao. Cooking for yourself sucks!
Plus my little candle and ghetto portable table won him over.
Edit; screw 6 months apart! >_> If I don't see him at least every 3 I'mm lose my mind. *Stare* Candle lit dinner, broke college kid style.

Alright, if I had to choose between living with either of our parents or eating ramen I might do it too... I couldn't live with either set!
Whats as cheap as ramen... but.. doesn't taste as bad.. I could just eat bread. LOTSA BREAD.
Honestly, we'll see if we are living off ramen for the next two years ourselves.. Living on loans and one paycheck will prove to be challenging to say the least.
And aww.. I wish I could say we would have been able to afford every 3 months. Might as well just move together with that money! :o

Haha it's mostly school that will keep us apart. We're both on a pretty similar schedule for the rest of our undergrad, and our graduate schools could potentially line up pretty well so long as everything in the future is as wonderful as it is nowww. >:3
Meh. Til that day in the far future, I'll spend my summers with him, I Suppose, and try for holidays and important dates. =p Cough, if he lets me.

There's more to life than school, you're both young (shut up, Uri), so you have plenty of time to finish all that junk.
As an old(er) ***, my advice is stop preparing for your future and have some *** fun right now. Why prepare to be happy at a time in which you can't enjoy it as much as you could now.

I think our grocery bill for a week was like $5, no more than 6 lol. If he worked 5/7 days that week, it was around 3-4. About the last month of that year though, things started perking up for us so we got to spring for bags of frozen corn. When we could afford corn, we knew we were in the big time lol
Every 3 months prolly would get expensive. It's part of the reason Ovr and I went so fast. After figuring up everything's cost, moving me 900 miles 5 months after we met was cheaper than the visits for a couple weeks at a time. If things failed, we would have wasted less money moving me here than we would have after just 2-3 visits.
Also, in-laws suck.

Oh trust me if I could, I'd take that advice. Haha.. Buuuuut my 5 year undergraduate is completely free for me.. And if I take the time off or extend it any further, I'll end up paying it all from loans or pocket.

The goal when we got pregnant was to have a list of 5 or so names ready so that when we finally met him, we could give him a name based on what we felt was best. The only first name we've got on the list for the last 8 months is Samuel. Middle names... we'll like something and hate it after we say it twice, so we're mostly stuck on that. I'd love more first names, too though. And they have to go well with Ovr's shitty last name, Gutierrez.
