But I've also been put to sleep before, so at least I know the stuff works on me if they do need to put me out for it.
No, no. It wasn't that I was put to sleep and felt pain while I was catatonic or something. I was given a shot that had NO effect on me, I felt everything and made a conscious decision to tough it out. I later told my dentist and my dosage was upped the next time, he also let me have Nitrous Oxide, which despite have enough of that being pumped into me to make HIM feel a slight effect, I was still able to communicate with him, walk, etc. I asked for it because I have anxiety issue and it helped.

Oh, I see. When you said anesthetic, I automatically assumed you meant full-on anesthetic and not local.

The local anesthetic my dentist used on me in the past worked for fillings, so I'm assuming it'll work this time, too. If not... It can't hurt much worse than the pain I'm dealing with now.

Now, to start whoring myself out to make that $2000...
