Jane Eyre was really boring to me, but when I tried to read it I was in 7th or 8th grade. Maybe if I tried again it would just bore me to frustration. ;;
Yeah, that one I'm a little wary about, but it was written by one of the Bronte sisters, so I figure it can't be bad. If Emily can write Wuthering Heights, who's to say that Charlotte can't make awesomeness?

Wouldn't* D: Maybe it wouldn't bore me to frustration!

Smelly English majors who can't even proofread her boring book complaints! What is this nonsense.

Oh, lol. I thought you were saying that if you tried to read it again, it would just bore you even further. Although it's kinda funny how we won't correct anyone else's spelling or grammar errors, but we're so picky about our own. I'm sure my constant use of ellipses drives at least someone batty...

Y'know, when I see the long list of books I want to read it suddenly dawns on me that I am not an avid reader by any means. Damn vidja games! I blame them. Moon, does Chandler write using the Noir setting?

My husband scouted through my "books" wishlist on Amazon and bought me a bunch of them for my birthday. That was nearly a month ago, and I've only read one of them! D: I finished Edith Hamilton's mythology book (mostly Greek, but some Roman and a chapter on Norse) a week or so ago, and I'm just starting Fahrenheit 451. He also got me Beowulf (read it in high school but wanted it for my collection), Hans Christian Anderson's Fairy Tales, Uncle Tom's Cabin, The Lost World (Doyle, not Crichton. I read the Crichton one ages ago.), Huckleberry Finn (already read it but want it for my collection xD), and Oliver Twist.

I was offended that I finished college with a BA in English without having read so darned many of the classics. English majors should have to read all the classics! All of them!

Except the Heart of Darkness, that book is awful. xD It's like Moby ***, how the entire book is build-up. But unlike Moby *** (who at least had a last page full of climactic action), Heart of Darkness just builds up forever and then ends. >< Gosh, I hate that book.

I couldn't agree with you more. Also with this:

Not a single lit class I've taken has assigned Dante's Inferno. I had to read that one on my own time.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Inside voice! Some of us are trying to sleep.

I've always wondered that, too, but I suppose maybe it was some feature to help people with accounts on multiple servers keep track of their conversations. Or just that each time you verify a character, it basically adds a whole new account and just lets you access it with the same login information.

Or it's just to mess with us.

It is now 15, which is a variable of 5 and 3, which are both odd numbers, which makes 15 amazing.

:-( There's not really any excuse for making your significant other cry. If she can't speak to him gently to tell him what's wrong, if she prefers to see him in pain than to try to work things out nicely, I can't even. I mean, if she's talking nice and what she says upsets him so he cries, sad but maybe not "she doesn't even love him" kind of sad. But in his face yelling? Nope. She gives zero darns about his feelings.

I think he was crying because he was holding back his fists because he didn't want to hit her. I had a talk with him a while ago. He won't talk much about it...

Why did you waste a post on it? Did you set it as your default account or something just to get to it?

If you click "Inbox" on the right, it opens your main account's PMs. But there's a drop down menu at the top of that page, and when you select a different account, it shows that account's PMs, but doesn't change which one is your default for posting.

I do like your idea though. Alexander.Shiva.Bismarck.Drokin has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?
