When I was little I hated coconut, but then like 2 years ago I tried coconut M&Ms and my life was changed. The coconut oreos are also pretty much amazing.

What the crap, body and continually fluctuating weather?!? I'm going to be in agony next week if I get sick. :(

On a good note, 'Oz, the Great and Powerful' was aesthetically wunderbar! Some of the dialogue was a stab to the childhood though. That's the only thing that made me sympathize for the 'Star Wars' whiners. Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!

Well, I meant that as more of a generalized statement. It seems that's the fad for Hollywood these days, whether it's adding sequels (as in the case with Star Wars) or doing a re-imagining of classic films (Judge Dredd, Total Recall), so I'm just curious on everyone's take on this trend in film making. I have an opinion, but I'll omit it to see other people's thoughts and possible discussion.

Personally I don't care if they do a reboot or a sequel, as long as it's good. I won't hate on a movie just because it's a sequel (even if it's the 5th one they make, just to make money) as long as the story is pretty good. Not like I pay anyway lol

I would like to see more new scifi movies though

I'd tend to agree with you, or at least I would have if I haven't been wounded by all those shots to the childhood. When I was younger, I didn't care what the movie was about; I enjoyed the action. If there was a story, hey, if it helps the action move, I'm whatever. But along the way and when I got older, the story started taking a forefront in films for me, and slowly the action began to matter less and less to me. Nowadays if the story sucks I'm not interested, and Zah's complaint is pretty much how I feel about all of these reboots.

I mean, I'm not going to bash it, because I did enjoy it. I think Sami Raimi is probably the only one who could have done the job. It's also not a sequel. 'Return to Oz' is the sequel, and creepy as ***!!!
