This is the very definition of bittersweet. One one end, it's good to finally have some progress made on the elusive Eta biscuits, on the other hand... Till not Unlimited POWAR for BST.

Well, they didn't add it in the last maintenance. They are aware of it, so if it's not added as a synth in tomorrow's maintenance, I'll be calling a GM and reminding them. May be the case for the new NIN tools as well, as they can only be bought from NPCs at the moment.
Not the first time this has happened, as every BLU from around three years ago remembers when trying to complete one of their AF pieces... Highly doubt it will be a synergy synth, as none of the others are. But we'll see. Incidentally, I tried to farm Ruszor meat (noticed it wasn't used in pet food/broths) before the big update and couldn't get any to drop, else I'd have tried the synth already. Much appreciated for finding the recipe finally.

Apkallu eggs make sense, they come out of the brown boxes in new zones. I'm putting a price tag on these at... 50,000 gil per 12. Possibly higher.
It will definitely be at least 50k to start, I think they'll level off at about 30k/stack.

crafters are being slackers >:U I'm glad I kept some eggs from my axe trials on those stupid birds. Too bad the drop rate wasn't all that great on the eggs, so I only have a stack or two, but that could still make a few stacks of biscuits assuming an NQ synth makes 4-6 biscuits like the old recipes. Now I'll just have to farm some damn meat.

How is the regen potency and duration?
um ill have to either try on a sheep or wait till night time for regen( i have beast healer 5/5 aswell :X
I'm curious if Beast Affinity is worth it anymore if these pet levels are more or less at the cap of our own level(s).

I'm more or less holding out hoping they do something useful with BST Affinity as i have no plans to rehaul my Teir II merits for BST atm -.-; Though I doubt they'll do anything. It was worth it back when very few pets made it to the 75 cap and all the good ones were just slightly under it. But now I would assume all the new jugs are more or less capped to our own level, even at 90.

personally i dont see myself using these that much. My zeta's alredy fill up over half my pets life and with regen atmas its getting to where i barely use reward as is. its def nice to have the option for a massive heal tho. But as is i go thru about 20 stacks of zeta's a week.
I figure since these are new and the best and slightly difficult to make/farm that the price is going to be to high to reasonably use. i mean if they are triple the price of zeta but only 30% better im gunna end up spending 400k a week on pet food insted of 100k a week.... no thanks. So i porbably wont use them and just stick to zeta. At least til the price settles into what they are worth functionally. Ok, I might not be reading this correctly, but am I seeing it's no longer worth having merits in Beast Affinity?
