Some people reject any incursion by RL into their virtual life. Other people see their virtual life as an extension of their real life. Whether or not you tend to appreciate RL pics, or completely reject them, depends on your reasons for playing these games and being online in general.
However, in my own experience, I haven't seen RL pic posters pick fights with those who don't. (Until attacked first.) On the other hand, people who refuse to post pics frequently attack the character and intentions of those who do, a la this entire thread. As an admin, this tends to make me take the side of those who aren't typically picking the fight in the first place.
