I'll say for a final time, Astriada has a problem with any other person posting their rl pic on this website but the very principle of having her pic as her avatar is contradictory. And then she calls people ugly who dont post their pics, and then she sucks at ffxi lol

one person posts their irl pic and then someone has to be like "OH YEAH? WELL HERE'S A PICTURE OF ME TOO" and then pics like this get submitted afterwards, like they're trying to one up the first pic poster.
are you really that desperate for attention? i mean, we get it, you're adorable but when the irl pic spam starts it gets to be a bit annoying. can't all you cats just get along instead of fighting over who's cuter than who?

If I can make anything approaching a "final" statement on the matter, there is nothing in the FFXIAH.com "mission statement" precluding the posting of RL pictures. Right up there in our banner it says we are a "community" site. That implies if people want to use it like Facebook, they're sure as hell allowed to.

Honestly, the folks hurling unprovoked vitriol at people posting RL pics look far worse in the eyes of admins and 3rd parties than those doing so.

The site admins have taken steps to prevent any given person from spamming or monopolizing the site to promote themselves, whether RL or in-game. That's about all we can do. I understand that many people feel their virtual life has somehow been "violated" by the incursion of RL pics or identities, but it's not in our job description to somehow ensure that never happens.

Why not call this a EMO thread. all i heard was complaining.
