Coeurls in Tahrongi.... can you force ruby light on them from WS kills or am I going crazy...
I'm honestly not sure but my friend said for Bats in Tahrongi you can't get ruby light from WS kills. I've never tested this myself though. :(
well i mean i've done it before...did SE break something?

Has anyone else had problems since the update getting ruby light in Tahrongi? I've got ruby consistently in La Theine with no issues and also Highlands. I know in the update they had recently the rate of pearl light is obtained was dropped drastically in my more recent runs but in most zones I had no issues getting Ruby, the only time it's been brought up was in Tahrongi thus far amoung friends.
I'm wondering if this is a glitch myself or if Tahrongi is just not a place to get exp at lol. Nope I've had no problem with it.
My problem has been the the people I've invited and taken there.

That's a good point lol Some people really fail at direction following when it comes to killing certain ways. :( I was asked, Did you have to chain ws kills to achieve ruby light? that's how i did it in a diff group...
Ruby is obtained by defeating a Mob using using Physical Weaponskills. Maybe people are killing with Magical WS's with give a different light. Also note that skillchains give Azure Light
idk why this group isnt seeing ruby -.- i just hate being called a liar so i want to make them see ruby...:/
Is it an issue that you're getting absolutely no light at all?
no ruby light what so ever, yet we still get ruby chests at random...
ninja edit: they said they've been here for 15 hrs and never seen ruby light from a kill... I mean, are you getting any other light or just not ruby?
edit: sucks no ruby light cause I don't think you can get exp cap without red chests :( We never got Ruby light from Pachypodiums last time I went :/
just no ruby, seeing pearl and azure often, but no ruby. it's been almost 3 hrs and im not even at 300/kill yet >_>;
How much exp/kill you getting after 15hrs? :O
edit: ouch... sucks :/...they can say no ruby what so ever all they want, i'll believe myself over them god damnit. i need more ppl to post in here with proof of experience that ruby does *** exist on coeurls D:<
Try doing pearl light only kills for a while and maybe the red chests will drop more often and open only ruby light chests. Pearl increases drop rate of all chests.
Like I said though, I had no issues getting Ruby, the only time it's been brought up was in Tahrongi thus far :(
I don't remember how we got red chests but we definitely never got the "Ruby Light" message from killing with WS. Probably with pearl light though

IDK, best of luck. Only think you can really do is take it :( can try calling a GM about it saying no ruby light is dropping but I highly doubt they'll do anything about it.

We just had a 3-4 hour ls party this morning on bats in Tahrongi, and the only time we'd get ruby light is from a chest, never from a ws =/
We capped azure first, then pearl, but when we moved onto ws kills it gave no light at all. Broken maybe? Not broken per se.
I've read several reports that certain mob groups are not capable of producing one certain type of light. Can't say any of this is confirmed, but that's what I've read so far. I think Krizz was investigating this somewhat. Maybe he'll shed some more light on the topic soon. |
