Farm farm farm!
A lot of people end up wandering around aimlessly. Your jungle should pretty much always be empty unless you're grouped for objectives. Fairy.Spence said: » Farm farm farm! Which Akali skin should I get? I like Blood Moon, but Nurse Akali is pretty sexy
Stinger Akali is on sale though hmm i like stinger akali. i own that and silverfang, but i wish i had got blood moon instead. silverfang was on sale at the time =/. can you get bloodmoon AND stinger? stinger should be pretty cheap.
I don't worry about CS, I just play Malzahar.

also as far as farming in a game i like to aim for 130 by 20 mins or so everyone else always seems to have like 70~
The best game I've had to date was on Ryze, in mid vs. Karthus.
It was 28min and I had like 240 minion farm, felt pretty good about that. Almost capped tear as well! Whenever I play I try to get the most CS possible as well

I was looking for some advice from someone who's played a while. I started playing on garen, was fun, but meh. I unlocked Darius & kick a fair amount of *** with him. well riven looked badass & I wanted a back-up for when others took darius, but riven is free this week, & I tried her out for a few matches with very little success. so I realize I haven't worked out any of her subtlties yet, but at first glance I just, idk, am not impressed. so my question, whose a good alternate (similar playstyle as darius)? The thing about Riven is she can take a lot of getting used, especially for newer players.
Judging by your champion choices so far though you appear to have a thing for solo tops which are usually tanky bruisers. So I'd go with champs like Aatrox, Jarvan, Olaf, Vi, Wukong, Trundle. Anything meant to build at least semi-tanky is gonna be right up your alley.
