When I said solo I meant using trusts. I don't have another account. I would use Cornelia (when available, like now) and other trusts that can't die like Brygid and that kitty kid etc.
I would follow the method in the videos. I'm thinking they are using Reiki Yotai (DW +7) when TPing and switching to O-Sash for the WSs? Can't see though, as same icon for each. I'm assuming that as they wouldn't need the Eabani earring if they went with DW +10 on cape?
Could try just using DW +10 from cape and TP in O-Sash, freeing up the earrings.
I'm not fussed about the fast time. Just need to be on right track with a win. This is the last HTMB I need to clear.
imho i prefer to use reiki+eabani vs dw+10 cape, reason being Null Cape 50 m.eva, accuracy, macc etc are very very good to help resist dooom/impact/para etc. I value that higher than gaining few extra marginal stats which could easily be invalidated by the need to use panaceas/remedy/holy waters more often.. but that's just me, I really like that I don't use nearly as many medicines anymore.
Yes btw O.Sash for WS and reiki, full malignance gives 26% haste but if you use ayanmo hands for tp (and Adamantite Armor if you put subtle blow in rings/neck) you'll need Alabaster Earring haste to cap XD tbh i tried so many diff sets, they're all kinda similar in terms of results more or less.. just choose one and while you keep killing it, you'll naturally lean towards one according to your playstyle preference
Also yeah trusts all passives: cornelia/moogle/brygid/star sybil/kuyin
Having max duration or close to max debuffs also helps a ton, you can open the fight with Sabo Sleep II and apply everything u want before engaging. I suggest applying Frazzle III first, as rarely without it some debuffs might get half duration resist,
I usually end up only needing to cast DIstract III, Addle ii few others once within 10-11 minutes, while Gravity/Para/slow tend to fall off 2 minutes before i kill it roughly. Remember that empyrean set bonus also increases debuff duration through Composure, and there's also merit category if really needed

What is a good low/PT RP setup for Mboze RP?
Sam and brd. SV march minuetx2 aria str etude.
Sam go brrr with 4-5 step light with SB set and food (fried shrimp), Yaegasumi after "Root of the problem" to last as long as possible. Should do more than enough dmg.
Hmm afaik Mboze takes 0 SC dmg, and there's just no way you can cap attack (specially with SAM) vs Mboze25 with BRD buffs only.
No idea why you'd use Aria in that situation or why mentioning 4-5 step specifically
I don't remember if it's 100% guaranteed to Ooze mboze with Rayke unda x3 alone, cause for KI 1 or RP (unless going with 1 TP reset job and 1 DD SB job slowly chipping at it) I usually did Rayke+Geo.Languor to land it (since frazzle III is hard to land without stymie apparently). That also helps for the v25 kill, allowing ki1 to push beyond 75% to like 69% or lower (based on how many buffs you can give to that DD in order to counter regen from 75%)

https://www.ffxiah.com/forum/topic/57887/shinryu-vd-solo-w-trusts/
I'm trying to work out what the TP sets used are here, looking at the videos posted by Wizardstick and Speedmaster. (They are in HD 1440p so the graphics are very clear.)
I'm trying to work out where they are getting Dual Wield +11 from. Assuming they are getting +11.
Both sets are slightly different, but I see Eabani earring in both, which gives DW +4. Then there could be DW + on the cape or DW +7 from the Reiki Yotai in waist slot. But that shares the same icon as O-Sash, which I thought would be used here. Even though it's a bit of a luxury item.
Neck pieces are different, but I'm guessing they are Anu's torque and Warder's Charm +1 respectively?
I see Aurgelmir orb +1, but I aint dropping 55M gil for that :p
I do have Coiste Bodhar R25 maxed though.
Anyone got any suggestions for the TP set on this fight? I seen the all gear thread where it does list O-Sash in waist, but keeps one earring and ring slot free I assume for DW + ?
EDIT: I'm thinking (for the gears I have) this set:
Crocea Mors / Bunzi's Rod (R15)
5/5 Malignance
Null Loop
Sherida / Eabani earrings
2x Chirich +1 rings
Reiki Yotai
RDM cape with either STP or DA.
This set gets DW +11 with -41 Damage taken.
No O-Sash here. And now would be the perfect time to get one, with the AH full of AMAN spoils and prices dropping.
I solo it everyday with killtime between 9 to 12 minutes depending on how many times he uses MG and wings up/down for half dmg.
Sanguine Blade + Crocea/Bunzi method is prob the most braindead, you just remain engaged and Sanguine Blade it to death, otherise Red Lotus Blade whenever u don't need heals it's stronger, specially at higher tp, but the fastest SOLO (no alts) kill i've seen was by Buukki, i'd ask him if you wanna get your cleartime lower than 9 minutes, he has a video on YT showcasing Red Lotus > Seraph SC + Stone V MBs and Seraph + Red Lotus + Fire V MB, when wings DT is not up, your bursts will do 25k dmg which adds up pretty quickly, but compared to other strats there are more variables to consider (you might end up interrupting SC sometimes to heal urself etc)
One thing i noticed which drastically reduced my Holy Water usage (like 4-6 used per run usually) was adding subtle blow with chirich rings+1 and bathy choker. I've also tried many times with or without Silence on it, since with Addle II without Silence he'll spend also more time casting rather than using TP moves, finally make sure to Dispel the regain after each Mighty Guard.
Many times with high m.eva you can just resist doom/impact etc tbh.
I don't like the Physical version cause I don't have Nitric Baselard to apply 18% extra def down and even if i had it I just feel the magicWS way is just easier since Sanguine Blade deals decent dmg and works so well. Magic burst on top of MagicWS is top imo, but prone to more risks.

probably performs very well with hoxne boosting the number of hits on kleos up/removing the need for AM3 upkeep but otherwise pretty okay, PK spams decent with striking flourish putting crit on 2 hits but iirc rudra/ruthless spam is still favored due to high WSD/climatic boost

I agree we are close enough on values for practical use. But I would like to understand a bit more why we can’t nail it down.
One thought I have is we aren’t using the right aftermath value. If you look at the table that says 12% at 3k it’s rounded. Take the actual value 3k dmg and add .9 and divide and you don’t even get 12%. Ex: 1142.9/1021 =1.119 or if you did it the other way 1021x1.12=1143.5 which also doesn’t fit. so I am thinking maybe it’s much more likely 30/256 or maybe an out of 1024 value.
Checking pdl would be probably easy done with something like Jokushunoibuki. It has 300 damage, so it would have a very good round-down precision and throwing doesn't have 5% randomizer, so you would only need to throw it once for each AM levels and once without AM. So you would only need 4 of them.
I think it would be great if someone could do a verification of that table. The four main points: no aftermath, 1k, 2k, and 3k for stage 5. Kill outside a starter city, post the job, subjob, weapon/ammo? And of course don't use any other pdl+ gear. Even if it isn't with Jukoshunoibuki a confirmatory source would be nice.
Also, was there a post at any point that definitely tells us if pdl+% is implemented after or before the trait?
Dmg = Base*((pdif+pdltrait)*pdl%)
or
Dmg = Base*((pdif*pdl%)+pdltrait)
Even with only a tier II trait and tokko bow + beetle arrow you should be able to tell with 5%+ pdl gear on Ronfaure rabbits.
Dmg=(136+12+48)*((3.25+(51/256))*1.05)=702.6
vs
Dmg=(136+12+48)*((3.25*1.05)+(51/256))=700.7
I just came back to the game a few months ago so I am still super slowing working my way up to get some of this gear or I would do it myself.

If you've been doing besieged, you can desynth from the new cards that have a T2 NQ/HQ1 result.
|
|
 |
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Crafting shield posts recommend doing:
Tier 1 -> Tier 1 -> Tier 2 -> Tier 3
However, card desynths are 70% T1, 20% T2, 10% T3, with 2 cards sharing the same Tier 2 and 4 sharing the same Tier 3. If I successfully desynthed 10 of each card, I'd expect to get:
7 of each of the 8 Tier 1s
4 of each of the 4 Tier 2s
4 of each of the 2 Tier 3s
Then you could do 4x T1 -> T1 -> T2 -> T3 chains and you'd have 3 of each Tier 1 left over. It seems like it would be better to do T1 -> T1 -> T1 -> T2 -> T3 most of the time, but
bgwiki said: Note: Unlike ordinary skillchains you may not repeat level 1 synthchains over and over. I assume that means slapping on another T1 isn't possible? Do people just burn their extra T1s on 6-point chains?

Short of running the numbers for everything is there any 'rule of thumb' when it comes to WS gear in terms of attack vs ability modifiers?
|
|
 |
|
|
If you're doing them at different times, it may be the way imprims are distributed that's causing it, they're not "built up" over time, they just get distributed at specific, fixed times so if your main is uncapping them just before that time and your alts are still waiting, that may be it? Otherwise, idk :shrug:

The definition of what is efficiency changes from user to user. If you bot then the most efficient (or way of least resistance) is to spend as few manual labor on the task as possible because you care less about bot time and your resources aren't as limited.
If you craft manually you might appreciate the opportunity to take a break to do something else because the process is tiring and you get more bang for your buck a few minutes later. Your time is more limited and it's more efficient to spend it when you get the most out of it, kind of like mini campaigns if you want.
Of course not every objective is worth going for it even when crafting manually.

ItemSet 393475
However, once they're fully upgraded you could fit all 5 of the duty pieces into the set. I think I'd probably keep the empyrean feet though, but in order of priority the Duty set is
Body --> Head/legs ------> Hands -----------> Feet
Body Head and Legs are easily the biggest upgrades, but hands and feet are worth considering once you get to that point too.
This was pretty much the same conclusion I came to as well. I am doing a bit different upgrade order though. I am going Legs > Body/Hands > Head.

I really like the implementation of this. I have 18 jobs fully geared, and have 7½ wardrobes completely filled, and have to do the porter moogle dance every time I change jobs. So this will absolutely be a game changer to manage all of the things that the porter moogle can't.

I have very little experience with Sheol A, how LOW is the rate of Aurum Coffers to appear? It clearly seems it's much different from Sheol C.
I'm talking about Izzat, not Keys.
I'm at 20 Coffers opened, none of them popped an aurum (last 6 have been opened on floor 7 in the vain hope that the higher the floor the higher the chance, the others have been opened on floor 1-3)
I didn't notice a difference in aurum coffer spawn rate between the sheols.
That said, I always saved up points until top floor and opened everything there. That's to save the most izzat and get at least one try for aurum per run.
You will have runs with no aurum but it was pretty high spawn rate. 30% or so, finger in the air.

I think the purpose of this addon is for people who have all of their wardrobes full and keep more gear in places you can't equip gear from like safe, storage, locker, satchel, etc. In order to play these jobs they would have to manually pull out all the necessary gear from those places. Even worse if you are dealing with a perpetually full inventory. This addon streamlines that process essentially acting as a 9th wardrobe (hence the name). Although I could be wrong about it's function or what your post meant lol.
Hey Bojak, you're exactly right on the primary use for this addon. I have 12 jobs geared on my character with all 8 wardrobes being close to capacity. I made this out of necessity, lol. That said, I do recognize that this isn't everyone's situation so I tried to make it useable beyond the situation I find myself in.
