Unless you mean the damage is already so high on those it doesnt matter, true shot doesnt apply to ranged magic WS though so can atleast ignore positioning a bit with those(through hot/flaming still benefit on the phys side iirc?)

I don't want to derail this into a RNG thread, and all points taken and mostly agree with, but these are some pretty reductionist takes on what RNG offers.

Hover Shot is a pain in the ***, though really has no bearing on TF, Flaming Arrow, or Savage blade builds, but point taken.

Pretty sure RNG is required for at least 2 of the T3 Ody NMs, and IIRC, was instrumental in the latest MT clears, the absolute hardest content in the game. I get it takes more work to gear and more brain power than spamming your jinpu/fudo macro, but every job has its issues.

I probably like the job more than the average player, so I'll admit I have some bias, but reducing it to a savage blade job simply because it's the best at it is kind of narrow-minded imo.

Still choosing Lehko's because Arma AM3 goes brrrr.

With "just came out" you mean (almost) 3 years ago, right? :-P
They were added in the May 2023 patch.

I personally don't see them being on par or close to primes, if they are then shame on SE.
Being on par with other REMAs though well uhm, situationally why not? I don't wish for that to happen, honestly, but I can see that happening for real.

I only just started trying to do a bit of Limbus regularly as of a week or two ago as HQ1s are fairly available/affordable now - I kind of wish augments required alternating matter or something rather than two every time. Two just feels steep considering the amount of time it can take to get one if you're unlucky. I know it should even out over time but even just setting out for 'one of each matter per week' can turn into quite the ordeal.

That said a lot of that probably would be fine or at least feel better if Limbus didn't require so much time spent running, sneaking, load screening, menu interacting, etc. It is a very frictiony activity.
By Veydal1 on 2026-03-07 12:50:13
Not a lot of content where you can make use of hover shot stacks since a lot of stuff is just zerged / cheesed.

If you're just looking to Savage blade spam, there are other jobs that can do it and add more for the party like Warcry from WAR or Angon from DRG.

Is Immunobreak used in the current end game? If so, for what?

Was it used in the past? It seems like a lot of effort for not much of a return unless it's absolutely essential to a fight (kiting with Gravity).

It depends on how much you value your self-worth. After a certain point money doesn't mean anything anymore. That's why there's rich people that are still miserable. I'll admit, to some people enough to live can certainly bring about happiness; but, to people with seemingly unlimitted money it can only buy a fascimile. Greed knows no ends.

Just change your ring when your situation changes, It's not like you just randomly end up in statics you have the opportunity to change rings for free weekly.

There's no reason to criticize others for choosing a ring that makes sense for their current situation.

No.

The choice is all job and content specific and only you know what your situations are, but knowing that there is no winner across every situation is important.

That said I think cornelia's is always a safe choice where lehko and ephramad are a little more nuanced.

I also think people overestimate the amount of time they are over attack cap or they only play with SV+bolster. I also play mostly sam and have pocket aria and even noticed a few surprising situations where an extra attack song is actually better than aria.

Oscar (brazillian footballer) played in China for 8 years, and earned $200M in that time, aside other bonuses.

Just got out of the non-streamed portion of today's event. Will do a full write up on my PC later but want to share the highlights.

The first part with the planning team was definitely best. The MCs asked the planners if they could share anything they're working on or if they could share what they want to do.

Taniguchi-san (one of the planners) said the third update to Limbus is in the works and that new weapons earned in Limbus are being made (he did not say whether the third update would include these or detail how they will be earned). He also said they are "working on new models for the weapons," though whether that means actual new designs or just reskins was unclear. When asked about strength the planner said "we're still planning, but they'll be strong." I don't know if that means on par with REMA or what.

When Taniguchi-san shared this, the MCs made it clear that info wasn't in their agenda for the live stream later but they may touch on it now that it's been disclosed.

R30 augments for the weapons to make them viable, good luck to the completionists. They really need to guarantee a matter each run instead of a measly shard.

■ About the monsters
These monsters cannot be claimed by a single player or party and may be freely attacked by any adventurer that happens to be present at the time. Also, the monsters will respawn in approximately 45 minutes after they have been defeated.

It may also be better for players who struggle with accuracy
Great sum-up.
Quoting this part because I think you should probably delete it?
It does very little for accuracy, there's plenty of better options and even among the ones you listed, Ephramad is way better if accuracy is what you need.

Furthermore I would add another note on Lehko.
A minor part of Lehko was the 10% haste, allowing certain jobs to sport specific combinations of gear which wouldn't bring you to 25% haste.
I feel this secondary part of Lehko is less relevant these days because Alabaster Earring exists.
It didn't cancel it, but it did diminish the strength of this specificc stat on Lehko, imho.
By ilugmat on 2026-03-07 07:14:56

Went and killed Fafnir/Kirin for the new RSE upgrades. You get a Lungo's thesis and Fafnir scale/Kirin mane respectively from the treasure chests that spawn.

Right after Fafnir we ran to the Kirin spawn area and other players killed it before we arrived. However, we could still see and interact with the treasure chest that spawned.

So right now acting on the NM does not appear to be a condition for interacting with the chest, I guess? Not sure if simply being in zone when it dies gives you access to the treasure or if it's available for anyone after the NM's defeat. We were in zone for about a minute before running to the area and it may have died en route.

I have never done synergy in my life and reforged the items without issue, so the RSE reforged gear seems like a decent option for fresh 99s or returnees.

Lehko's is a fantastic choice for Shining One users, and any other crit WS.

I personally rocked the cornelia's ring for a good while but recently swapped to Ephramad specifically because i tend to be doing group content with high buff levels. Drg with Prime is not attack starved at all imo.

Id assume calad keeps pace just cause of constant odd/otd linked with torc spam. Drks on the slower end of tp gain so white dmg adds up to match the lower ws

It doesn't. White damage is like...20% of your damage, at best.

Also: Foenaria (talking St5 here) has 30% ODT, so it has similar white damage as well. So adding ~10% extra on 20% of your damage adds ~2% to your overall DPS. This isn't quite how the math maths, but either way...it's not a significant increase to your DPS.

When comparing 50% ODT to 0% ODT, sure it's not TOTALLY terrible, but comparing 30% ODT (which doesn't require an AM3 by the way) to 50% ODT, it's not going to make up for it.

Where did you get those numbers exactly? can't talk in an absolute way about something so situational as whitedps to wsdps ratio xD, white damage might be around 20% for 2h if you just use a tp set who doesn't give an F about white dmg, can be a bit higher on DRK an muuuch higher on Ukon WAR or Redemption DRK (like +40-45% of dps with full pdl/da/dadmg build). Also i didn't see anyone mention that prime triple dmg only procs on the first hit of a multiatk round VS empy AM tthat affects all rounds, which means losing a ton of autoatk dmg on Empy 2h vs Prime, specially on WAR that can get very high DA dmg% stacking with AM3 and empy set bonus occasional proc + PDL/crits.

Finally i see ppl mentioning eyeballing parse n yada yada, pls be careful when eyeballing things. Unless you got a seriously deep understanding of ALL variables and possible factors in play, you prob wanna think twice before convincing yourself that something is "true" after a quick eyeballing test in an uncontrolled or "casual/pug" setup. There are too many variables at play and one must be able to read those numbers and understand why they end up being lower/higher, rather than just oversimplifying the subject to a mere "i've beat it/seen it in the parse".

Depending on the content, you can go crazy (or wrongly judge other players sometimes) thinking something or someone sucks/isn't working or performing as you remember/expect, just because maybe the WAR didn't tomahawk, armor break or def down from that slot is missing, nobody applied box step or there's something different with the buffs in general.

We have enough ppl religiously parsing numbers that they don't even fully understand yet (or ppl asking for s5 who don't even parse runs ending up with weak rdm/cor lol), would be nice if instead of considering those numbers as an absolute "statement" associated with the player itself, we could help ppl understand that for any DD in order to reach those 9-10M dmg runs (or Limbus 7-8M), you don't just need perfect buffs, but you'll also need someone in the party to "underperform" more or less, relatively to the average expected dps distrubution among jobs.

As an example, there's a somewhat finite amount of dmg (excluding overkilling) that you can deal in a Sheol C or Apo/Temenos run, sure it'll variate a tiny bit but the number of families (or mobs killed to go up a floor in Limbus) will remain the same. I mention this, because if you see this, you can understand that when DDs do 9-10M in a sheol C run, it usually means someone else did underperform compared to the "average dmg distribution". I often seen 1 dd at 9M while the other at 7-6M, or both DD at 8-9 and COR BRD dealing 1-3M max each. Finally the more COR and BRD are good (and stronger thanks to Aria specially), the more will be likely for DDs to encounter unlucky chains of auto-targeting madness, since COR n BRD will be 1 shotting mobs as well and thus things will die ultra quickly (while when COR n BRD stop one shotting mobs, DDs usually get extra ws out). In order to increase DD dmg in segs it's vital to learn which direction to face while killing monsters in order to avoid auto-targeting sending you to the other half of the planet everytime, but i know other ppl also press macro ws and then quickly change target with cursor before it goes off so they "bypass" auto targeting.

I'd suggest using a parse addon who also shows WSdmg average and other useful stats for more fair comparisons, cause if you just look at scoreboard total dmg and dps, you risk becoming an "ungabunga big number!" player without ever considering or realizing there were other reasons and factors limiting those numbers by default.

As a reference i often see Apo runs having on average of 15-16M total damage dealt (removed 1M to account for overkills roughly), and 17-18M total dmg dealt in Temenos runs. Say you have that DRG s5 buffed to death in Apollyon averaging 69k wsd dmg and hitting 7-8M in a run + that good RDM pulling 4M+ dmg, that would automatically mean for 2nd DD and COR guaranteed "underperforming" according to dps numbers, since they'll be left splitting the last 4-6M total dmg expected from the run. Try to notice these things next time you parse Sheol C or Limbus.

Maybe we can slowly help the community to use parsing tools as a real way to improve and learn, rather than just using them as a way to boost fragile egos more often than not, or judging others secretly with our inner DDgrinch friends circle (insert screenshot of DD posting Sheol C parse where he did 10M but BRD didn't engage and COR or 2nd DD were doing ***XD)

P.S: Hoxne Ampulla for Limbus runs?? wow you guys really got gil to throw huh, I hope that was just for testing rather than a fulltime thing! Your sortie route must be DH ABC JEF-Bezos or something if you use the Ampulla for Limbus o.ò

Fujito said last August that augmenting the primes is the next step

I don't remember this. Can you share when this was stated?

You'd think they would need to add additional augments to the rest of the REMAs as well too? I don't remember talk of that.

Oh ok

Quote:
Fujito: After "Embryo" is completed, we will be able to enhance prime weapons, but even if we go to the trouble of creating them, they will be meaningless if there is no place to use them. On the other hand, we don't want new content that tests the power of prime weapons to be mandatory for future play, so we are planning several new master trials. In previous Master Trials, a special weapon that glows white but has no practical use as a weapon was available as a reward for clearing the trial. However, in addition to the two-handed swords and other weapon types that have been implemented so far, there are several others that have not yet been implemented, and we plan to make these available in the new Master Trials.

Laphria is what I use almost all of the time, except for when Naegling, Loxotic Mace +1, or Shining One is needed. My Chango has effectively been retired since I got the s4 Laphria.

Have you tried using Laphria in place of Naegling/Loxotic/Shining One in Sheol C? How does it perform comparatively against the various enemies there?

Naegling is still the king of Sheol C runs. Switching to the other options, as needed. My group for Sheol C farms typically enters with DD/DD/DD/BRD/WHM/COR. Usually 2 WAR with a SAM make up the DDs. Since we do not use a tank, sword and board helps a bit defensively and can consistently do 95-100% dmg savage blades on most mobs.

If Naegling savage blade werent so dominate for one shotting, or nearly one shotting most mobs in Sheol C, I might be more tempted to use Laphria in there

I'd love nothing more than to use Ragnarok unironically again.

Was rags WS ever any good? Even at 75 i think people opted for spinning slash still and beyond that it was just a reso weapon, was never a "terrible" ws, just always kind of mediocre compared to few other scaling WS GS has access to

Nah it's always been pretty garbo, but as I've previously stated, I'm a *** for crit, and 24% (with AM3) is pretty nasty. I also think it's one of the coolest looking GSs. I typically lockstyled it over my Epeo and Calad.

I know I'm reaching ad naseum with the crit convo, but I would love to be able to viably build a crit setup that sacrifices WS/SC damage for white damage. Iono why, just something about going ham on autos speaks to me on a spiritual level.
