Does packet injecting the sale to guild npc bypass limits?

Based on this.... I think it's a fair assumption that the Master Trials count for quite a great deal.

I'd be SHOCKED with your accolades if you cleared Crystal Paradise and didnt hit 9.

Please do and report back!

I'm not super sure, because I did notice even before the mastery update that it felt like I was really far behind to even hit rank 8 compared to most others. A lot of folks here reported hitting rank 8 with a lot of stuff undone and in the 900s for titles, but I basically had 98% of the stuff above done and ~1025 titles before the game gave me rank 8 myself. My assumption was monstrosity or maybe even character age since this account is newer than most others.

I might be able to get Crystal Paradise done in the next couple months depending when people want to do it, and I'm actively working on the last V25s as well. I need to settle in for the 500 mazes I'm missing at some point (but some people, like Mischief, also don't have that either). Obviously I'll keep checking my rank after new accomplishments, there's just less and less of them available outside of monstrosity which I've been putting off haha.

I should probably try to buy a bunch of spheres during this new years event as well to try and work on finishing my shield as well, just to check that box off.

At what point is it your own fault? Say I'm lactose intolerant, but I continue to consume dairy products because it's delicious. Am I really at fault for having the runs or was the cheese to blame?
Don't blame the cheese.

Also think about one of the many OTCs for lactose intolerance.

Potions, that’s what it was. I remember now being in the medecine as that’s the only menu I really interacted with at the moogle. I don’t use addon, so not sure the difference but bought some and sold some many days later in adoulin and noticed the difference, but it wasn’t this bad.

There’s more out there, SE should offer a bug bounty, even if it’s just a title
By . on 2025-12-30 08:19:39
You are your own choices.

Don't blame others or other things for your own decisions.

Not as high as you guys, but got 6 -> 7 yesterday.

All missions/expansion done, medal of altana (no Fiat) 600+ roe, no craft. Anyway, nothing crazy or out of control, generally did my content but not sweeping the floor on everything, only thing I did was +.3 ( from 12 to 12….) fishing skill, 2 RoE fishing (rusty and monster) and 1 VD ifrit (still need a few more) and both limbus tower. So nothing exceptional, but for the lower peeps, don’t forget to do those RoE fishing as I believe it’s what crossed it for me.
By Byrthnoth on 2025-12-30 07:03:03
It was ~700 gil profit per max potion and 320 max potions per zone, so it should have been about 220k/zone, right?

Max Potions have been on the NPC for ages and this vulnerability has been there the whole time, so my guess is that they only addressed it because someone was programmatically exploiting it.

but player spell cannot overwrite itself. Sandpit can...

BLU's Regurgitation Bind effect can overwrite itself indefinitely, because:

The bind effect is applied after damage allowing it to be reapplied.

I wonder what the base duration is. I don't see it on wiki. I'll have to check.

...Minor clarification...

I appreciate the feedback! Got those edits in. I've also edited the tables for the zone sectors / floors on my user page. I'm not familiar with the way the wiki's software works, so before I go making live changes entries that will effect multiple pages, I wouldn't mind another set of eyes to run through the "Tables" section at the top of the linked page. They are minimal changes, but changes regardless.

Now you'd think, if this has been a ... "game detail" ... that has been known to cause issues for 20+ years, you'd also think its easy to fix.

But.

By maletaru on 2025-12-30 04:57:08
BRD using SV/CC for those buffs? Even still, you're unlikely to do a lot of damage on a V25 with few buffs/debuffs.

With SV/CC songs and a decent Chaos, you should be doing more than 7k, but not a whole lot more than 7k.

Are you walling yourself? Which other WS are you alternating it with? Is there someone else there to help you prevent walling yourself?

No idea what this setup is, which jobs are there, which WS they're using, which debuffs are on the boss. No idea how anyone is supposed to give you a real answer.

damage is still ~7k, what buffs are you using? What ML are you? That still seems awfully low, again, even with just a single Chaos Roll.

thats why i reached out, cause it was wrecking my brain lol, i let ya know tomorrow after Supercharge if there is improvements

Yeah ignore the knife, you cant use sub weapon in gaol. Su5 is fine. Sroda is for attack capped set, but that doesn't matter because 7k ws isn't hitting anywhere close to attack cap. If what you're saying is you have a similar set and your damage is still ~7k, what buffs are you using? What ML are you? That still seems awfully low, again, even with just a single Chaos Roll.
By belgarionriva76 on 2025-12-29 22:58:47
hmmm they using crep knife, i dont have it ( yet )
and sroda
rest i have covered, so its prolly the build i have thats not great, cause i see my gear changing for WS

So ~5% chance at something decent with FES Keys, significantly worse with the "10th" key.

The beatings will continue until morale improves.

I'd absolutely take an Impish Box on my main over the usual massive pool that usually results in pure garbage. Nice exemplar point reward, and I don't mind doing that fight with friends and hopefully somebody gets a body.

I was totally fine paying 1500 login points for an Impish Box earlier this year on my main, and I'm also fine getting that as my likely reward for doing 10 FES Keys. Kinda wish it had a higher rate of gear from the Selbina/Shinryu/Cloud HTBFs, but it is what it is.

I certainly don't find it very worthwhile to try to do this on mules in the future though, maybe just something I'll do on daily login for my main if it takes a similarly short time to complete a seasonal event in the future.

One thing we're still not fully clear on (and will not be this month unless we get dev confirmation): is your count of number of boxes opened going to roll over to future seasonal events? Like, if I open 15 FES key boxes this time (getting a rainbow box on #10), and they do this again in February... will I get a rainbow box on my 5th FES key in February?

I thought guild NPC's have a certain amount of buyback stock available?
By Almostunsane on 2025-12-29 22:46:26
Max-Potion, Ether, Uleguerand Milk, Persikos au Lait, and Boiled Crab have been removed from the moogles' inventory.

Ether and Boiled Crab, per FFXIclopedia, sold to Guild NPCs for a higher value than it cost to buy them from the moogle. 700 for an ether, NPC for up to 906. 550 for Boiled Crab, NPC up to 675. Presumably the same applies to the other items, but their guild prices aren't listed.
By Goltana101 on 2025-12-29 22:40:34
7k is too low even with trust buffs or solo with Chaos Roll. Are you certain your WS set is swapping in when you Last Stand?

You can use this as a reference to help you build a Last Stand/Detonator set

Gotten two myself from Holy Cow. All other ENMs that I can solo on RDM have been no drop.
By Llewelyn on 2025-12-29 21:10:05
Is there a particular BCNM with a higher drop rate of Cloud Evokers than others? I've just been doing Uninvited Guests, but looking to add another BCNM in my rotation.
By Tokimemofan on 2025-12-29 21:04:46
Fix incoming. They just announced in game an emergency maintenance for the zones in an hour

Maintenance in moogle areas here in a minute yay crisis averted
By Brimstone on 2025-12-29 20:46:09
I suppose beyond the snark I should say out of ~170 keys

I've gotten:
Rockfin tooth
Pil's Tullile
Iolite Crystal
Might have been 1 or 2 more decent gil items.

Daybreak
Null Belt
Freke Ring

I think the only non-impish box was a PUP card. For the 10th key.
